Coyuchi Unisex Organic Waffle Robe, Long Bathrobe, Cotton, Alpine White, (S-M)

This is absolutely fantastic and true to size. Normally you would think this price point is a bit much for a bathrobe but it seems anything under $100 anymore just doesn't have quality. This is expensive I will admit but you are getting quality. I got the spruce green color and it is true to the picture online and is bright and happy. After the first few washes the waffle texture tightens up and has a very satisfying feeling to it and it gets softer even though the texture tightens which is a really interesting contrast and I love it. It's thick enough without being heavy and it's breathable so you don't sweat while wearing it. It's not weightless but it's not heavy either I would say it's light for me. One thing to be mindful of is that it absolutely does shrink since it's natural organic cotton and this is just a fact of life. I'm 5'9" and have fairly long limbs even for my height so the sleeves shrunk up a good amount but they still look generous on me but I would say the length of the robe is what shrinks the most so it still comfortably goes past my knees but it's definitely not a midcalf robe anymore after I washed and dried it so that is something to be mindful of. Sizing up one size could potentially help with that but I don't know. I got the medium large and after washing and drying a few times the sleeves are about 24 inches at best but maybe a little less than that because of the waffle weave and how it compresses and as far as the overall length goes it is about 44 inches again with the waffle weave texture you might get a little bit of a stretching effect over the knees because it is kind of like a compression situation rather than a true loss of length but if you compare that with the original measurements it definitely does shorten up.

This organic cotton robe is a luxurious treat. I chose this one specifically because it’s organic cotton, which meant that I knew it would be ultra soft on my skin and breathable which is what I need as I’m eczema-prone. The fabric creates a cozy and comfortable experience. Back to the organic cotton, I love the touch of sustainability and eco-consciousness this brand pushes forward. Yes, it does “shrink” after first wash, I found that air drying in a warm room helps. I’m 5’9 and 186 lbs, I bought the L/XL and I have a great amount of room for lounging. My husband that is 6’2” 215 lbs also has a sizable amount of room to relax in my robe as well, LOL.

What a fabulous robe! Yes, as some people have written, they do shrink in the wash. That is what cotton does. I am a small and my husband is a large. I bought the small-medium for me and the large-XL for him. They were both a bit big when we got them. After one wash they did shrink some, but now fit perfectly like a small and a large. Just plan on that and you will love these robes. Soft, light and very cozy for summer wear.

For starters, don't waste your money here. This product is total crap and NOT REMOTELY AS ADVERTISED. Organic - totally not true. The robe absolutely REEKS of pesticides. I am chemically sensitive, so this is a total no go. Period. Misleading and deceptive advertising to the nth degree. Toxic and dangerous product. Totally crap and going straight back - can't get it out of the house fast enough!!!!!!! The colour - first thing you see... "Beige" / "Coyuchi cotton" colour can only be described visually as "faeces brown". NOTHING like "beige" or as indicated in the pictures, and no, tbis is not remotely a case of "screens appearing differently" - rather an overt case of intense use of Photoshop colour adjustments to the photos depicting the item online (on both Amazon and their website). It makes it look like someone shat in a vat and used that as fabric dye. The quality - for the money I'd expect a top quality piece designed to last. However, it's a really flimsy weave which will no doubt catch on absolutely EVERYTHING within the first 24hrs of wear, making it immediately look like a homeless person's rags you pulled out of a garbage or charity/recycling clothing bin. The size - I had studied their size chart and reviews carefully, buying a M/L as a UK 10 sized female, however it would have to shrink a ton to be remotely wearable, then would inevitably stretch again to a totally unwearable size with any body heat or shower steam during wear again. Cut - the online pictures make it out that this robe has some special cut in the front lapels to make it particularly flattering during wear, but this is not remotely how the actual item I received is cut in reality - it looks like any £50 robe you could readily buy from any other brand online. Straight cut with no special features. Honestly you can get great quality attractive robes for less than a third of this price, and this brand doesn't remotely stack up to the online description and pictures

Love this robe: just what I wanted: light weight but still well made. There are a lot of these robes out there on line. I’m happy either way this one and it washes up beautifully.

It is comfortable, light weight but very warm. I cut the sleeves, they were to long but I like it. Machine wash and hang dry, drier will shrink it some. Cost is high.

This is 100% organic cotton and it is not scratchy like some spa robes. Coyuchi organic cottons are the best, in my view. The teal color is lovely. I am small, but I got the large because I like a bathrobe that envelopes me. I am ordering a second one for a family member.

The fabric discolored fairly quickly and in unusual places. It fits fine and is a nice length, but the quality was disappointing
