I use the for my cymbals, which I hit when I play. They seem to work well and as described. I wish I could play better, but that has nothing to do with these stupid pieces.

I needed a hi hat clutch in a pinch. This kit was a dollar more than the clutch by itself. Great little tune up kit for a beginner kit. The red adds cool little accents to the drum stands. Quality is ok but not the greatest. The wing nuts were a direct match to the treads on my stands. The cymbal retainers were a hair loose. And my complaint, the hi hat clutch Inner diameter is listed as 7mm but what I received has an i.d. of 8mm. The clutch screw is also super long and hangs way out when set. Alright for the price

Great little kit to have when on the road. I haven't used the cymbal wing nuts, but the drum keys worked for my Yamaha Stage Custom kit. The cymbal pads and liners work well. Recommended!
