recently tried the ETEKJOY RFID Electronic Cabinet Lock and found it extremely convenient and reliable. The lock is easy to install and works smoothly with RFID cards, providing quick and secure access without the need for keys. These are easy to install if you take your time and measure carefully. I installed 4 of them in less than half an hour. One thing to note is that the cards work great, they trigger nearly half an inch from a 3/4" thick wood door, but the fobs barely work, if at all, through the same door.

Overall this comes across as a great little lock. However, it would be very helpful if there was a mounting template for everything since working from the inside of a compartment. Using the double sided tape on each piece helps, but it is still difficult - especially if there is material on the "door" side that will compress as the screws are tightened. I ended up having to reposistion everything because I made it too tight after the material compressed and it wouldn't lock. Overall, after figuring out the mounting, it works great. Seems sturdy and durable to prevent accidental opening of the cabinet. Hopefully the batteries last as long as advertised.

Awsome lock especially for the cost. Didn't come with installation instructions or templates. Does have operational information.

Installation is not easy, but got it working. The problem I’m having now is that when I put the card up to it, I get 3 fast beeps and it won’t open. Any ideas from anyone?

Pretty straight-forward installation. I installed over 5/8" thick mahogany, so the card needs to right up against the wood. It functions as expected and keeps my my booze safe and out of the hands of children. It's been 4 months, battery is fine so far. (it is supposed to beep when the battery is running out, and I understand it is crucial to replace it when you get the warning as there is no way to open the lock with a dead battery.

So I agree with most reviewers. Getting it lined up for install is a trial-and-error effort and I had to install some wood spacers for the male side of the unit because it sits further back than the face frame of the unit. No big deal. I programmed the cards/fobs before installing. The programming was easy per the instructions and the fobs simply don’t have the range that the cards do, but I did figure out after install that I need to hold the fob in place for about 2 seconds and the lock will open. Ok so here’s the CAUTION. I figured that I would leave the battery cover off of unit while installing and getting it lined up. Bad idea. Once it was lined up I closed the drawer a bit too hard and the batteries came loose. The unit defaults to lock without power. I won’t go into details of what it took to get the drawer open - but it was not pretty!! The battery cover is now on! And I am buying the power cord as I do not want to go through that again and I have a power source in the drawer.

Very confusing instructions, zero mention of what app to use, no video instructions as stated in description. Impossible to use with the information given.

Do not buy at any cost even if they provide free Don't buy this product , Navkar person n product in pathetic , waste of time , energy and money ...... extremely worst product & service no manual , ones battery drain it stuck inside n u have to break the door ...... i have to to break my wardrobe because of this cheap lock ....
