It runs like a honda without the honda price.
I have some rural property that I have not set up power on yet. I purchased this generator for odd jobs that I need to get done on this property. I have used it to run a sawzall, a hammer drill and a pancake air compressor. It has had no issues providing enough power to run these tools. The generator is surprisingly quiet, you could easily have a conversation on the phone while standing right next to it. I am thinking about purchasing another one for a backup. The initial oil fill was super easy because it came with a side fill funnel and a tool packet which helped to remove the panel and fill oil without spilling. I would add a fuel stabilizer to the fuel because this thing sips gas and the fuel may sit in the tank for a while. Older fuel can gum up your carburetor after sitting in a tank. I am super happy with the purchase. Dave

Nearly as quiet as a Honda of the same size
I bought this as a twin of one I already have to use in parallel configuration. Craftsman discontinued this specific model so I had to scoop one up. Nearly as quiet as a Honda.

Junk. Terrible customer support.
I purchased 2 of these on 2 seperate amazon accounts. 1 for work and 1 for home. Unboxed both on Friday. Added the oil and 90 octain gas, followed the starting instructions as described, it's not rocket science. Neither would start, but both leaked large amounts of gas on my garage floor. After multiple times trying, the home unit started and ran for about 30 seconds, idle high and low, pouring more gas out onto the floor. Hasn't started since. The work unit after multiple attempts will occasionally start for several seconds but then shuts off. They have Craftsman colors and stickers but are made by Generac. I always thought Generac was a reputable outfit. And since when did Craftsman start putting out such low end junk, not that they were ever top of the line, but this is ridiculous. In 3 days I have spent over 5 hours on the phone talking with people from customer support, when you can actually get a person to talk to. They have all promised to call me back, email or text, and none have. Negative 5 stars.

Great little inverter/generator
I am a first time inverter/generator owner operator. I am a retired female camper trailer owner. I purchased this generator for my 19 foot camper and to use for power outages to alternately run my boiler and refrigerator/freezer in my house. I read the manual and started up this generator on the first pull. It ran the ac in my camper like a champ. To top it off…it’s very quiet. The only minor negative is you have to pry the side panel off to check and fill the oil. I am extremely satisfied!

Generator
Have had for over a year. Use to run electric pole saw and used 3 days straight to keep refrigerator running after hurricane Helene.

How to start after it has been sitting for awhile
I found that even though I drained the carb that after a month of sitting it didn't want to start. This has happened a couple of times. My solution has been to pull the cover off and open the back of the Carb - the two long screws that hold the air duct on - and spray some CRC Ether in. The motor started on the first pull and kept running.

Great little generator
Awesome little thing. Much quieter than I was expecting. Perfect for camping. Just humms. Purring away. Like a champ. Fired right up. Follow the directions before starting and it's mint. I used 93 for first run. Never once hesitated.

Perfect.
Way quieter than my old generator I was quite surprised. Fuel consumption is not bad a tank last from 6-12 hours depending what you’re running. No more worries with power outages and ready electrical on the go for camping. The other thin I like and have used is you can boost a vehicle and it comes with the attachments, I used it to charge my boat batteries and worked flawless. I recommend. Thanks.

Fantastic little unit!
After doing a lot of research and seeing Honda 2200i inverter generated was the quietest had my eye on buying a gently used one for using when dry camping in the 16’ trailer we use when attending music festivals and the like. However new ones are around $2k and even used ones in good shape are $800-$1200. Csme across this on Prime Day. Good reviews, essentially a rebranded Generac. Just slightly louder. Figured if I was spending several hundred bucks I might as well buy new. Not disappointed! Very quiet unless running a heavy load. But we had our interior/exterior trailer lights on, a TV and blu-ray player going, in addition to a small fan for air circulation as well as the small fridge in the trailer all going at once. Neighbours on either side were in tents. No complaints. Ran for almost 12 hours on a full tank of fuel! Perfect for our needs. Very happy with the purchase thus far!

A good buy
I use it at my cabin and it runs 24/7 for up to five days. No glitch exept for oil you have to check once every 4 full days of use. It always starts at the first pull. On a full tank with the high performance on, it runs for more than 12 hours. I run a fridge, a few led lights and coffee machine easily.

Great product
After unboxing and filling with the included oil using the supplied funnel, it started first pull! Been using it a month or two now and it runs and performs flawlessly! I love this generator! I also have a newish Honda 2200i. It’s been nothing but trouble☹️. Save your money and buy the far cheaper Craftsman 2200i !
