Works great for smokeable herbs. I put anywhere from 3-7g in at a time and only press it very shortly 2-3 times. I dump the herb onto the tray and take any bigger nugs and put them back for next time. If you press it any more than 3 times it can turn it into powder.

OMG, this is the BEST GRINDER EVER!!! I've had both of my wrists broken in the past, and they really hurt with repetitive motion. THIS GRINDER, just fill, press on the lid (which is very nice to keep things from drying out), place top cap on and PRESS. It only grinds while your pressing down on the cap, so you can CONTROL how finely you want it ground. It's easy...very simple. I love the fact that there are actual blades (2) that whirl a billion miles a minute. Holds A LOT. Can store what you grind in it if you want because of the vacuum type lid! Price is decent compared to others. THE BEST PRODUCT EVER! HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Excellent grinder for herbage. The longer you run it the finer it grinds, even stems! It’s not very loud either. Wish it had the option to have a rechargeable battery instead of an electric cord. I would but it again.

Inside cup does not come out, and gets hot when grinding for a bit. It has lasted through the first use. Large capacity.

Does the trick for our fresh and dried herbs. Might seem silly but not having your morning coffee smell like sage, thyme or oregano is worth the expense.

I bought this grinder because my arthritis has been getting worse, and grinding herbs by hand had become painful and frustrating. This electric grinder has been a total game-changer for me. It has a large capacity, so I can grind plenty of herbs at once, and it does the job quickly without me having to strain my hands or wrists. The stainless steel cup is easy to clean, and I really appreciate the pollen catcher feature since I grind a lot of herbs on a regular basis. The design feels solid and durable, but it’s also simple enough to use with just one hand, which is perfect for someone like me dealing with joint pain. If you use herbs often and want something reliable, powerful, and arthritis-friendly, I definitely recommend this grinder. It’s one of the best investments I’ve made for my kitchen and my comfort.

UPDATE: This thing is so annoying to work with, and incredibly noisy. After 4 days of use it doesn't even work half the time when plugged in. Just spend a little more money, don't do what I did and try to be cheap. You're gonna just buy another grinder that's better later. --- ORIGINAL: I bought it to replace a lost hand grinder. I use this to grind legal herbs, you know the ones. It works fine for that, easy to use, not too big a pain to clean if you stay on it after each use. Grinds things up well and consistently. It's a 3 because of two things: 1) The noise level is not great. I expected some noise, but this thing sounds like if you took a vacuum cleaner and set the volume at 50% - so still pretty loud. If I lived alone in a house I wouldn't care but I live in an apartment with people around, and this thing can definitely be heard through the walls whenever I use it. So the problem now is that if I want to do an early morning or late-night session, I still have to grind/cut by hand so I don't disturb my neighbors. If it's past midnight, doing even a ten second grind on this thing is liable to get a pound on my wall or door. So if you need something quiet and discreet, this ain't it. 2) Speaking of late night sessions, I forgot to put the pollen catcher on ONCE before grinding and it was a complete and total disaster. Without that pollen catcher the ground herbs will fly up and out of the container and get stuck in the outer rim between the cover and the metal inner part, and also spill out all around the grinder. It's completely insane that they made it this way. If you buy it just come to terms with the fact that you will eventually forget to put pollen catcher cap on for one of the times you use it and will have to deal with a similar mess. TLDR: it's fine, it does its job, but I wouldn't buy it again. If you don't care about noise level and believe you have the mental fortitude to never, ever forget to put the pollen catcher on before you start grinding, go for it. You get what you pay for.

Got it working right out of the box. Some reviews mentioned the cord not staying in, but I noticed you do have to actually push the plug in the machine till it clicks in fully and then its really in there. Grinds well for filling cones or rolling with. Is great for mixing in kief with your flower. This is a great upgrade if your grinder is constantly stuck or your hands cant twist the grinder like they used to. I would recommend this to people looking though we did just purchase so I will speak on its durability later.

grinds way too finely and the power cable sits very loosely in the grinder. like its supposed to plug in twice as far as it goes. falls out if you move the grinder

this grinder works good when your hands can no longer turn old grinder lid without jamming.
