Great noodles at great cost
We love these noodles! I like the health benefits of black rice and need to be gluten free, and these noodles are really tasty! Bonus and worth it to buy it in bulk.

Delicious base to a good meal, but it is rice ramen after all
Yes, people are fussing that it doesn't taste like wheat ramen. No, because it is rice and also because it has not been coated in palm oil, which is bad for you, especially if you consume it frequently. Black rice ramen makes an excellent base for a quick meal. And I don't use their directions. I have found that the water in the pot has to be ample to cover the noodle brick, and be at full boil before I drop in the brick. I use two forks and right away start separating the brick as soon as it hits the boiling water. I get it all separated and stir it a few times then plop it into a wire colander and douse it well under cold water. All told, the noodles boil for only a minute to a minute and half in my method, but I get pretty good firm noodles, and I add in my own flavors. I stir fry finely minced sweet onion, bell pepper, a tiny bit of fresh ginger, and any lunch meat I have (use only a half ounce). Everything finely minced and strifried together. Mix that with the noodles, then quick and lightly fry a whole egg and drop that on top, then mix it in with a chopstick to add richness. A little soy sauce on top and presto! Excellent meal.

I just really like them
These are such a staple for making ramen that I started buying them by the case. A bit more economical that way. I think they are the highest in their line and price. Worth it to me.

Bugs!!!!NOT individually packed, NO flavor packet
These came in one big plastic bag, without any flavor packets. Itโs a pretty big item to have to find individual storage for, and as I worked my way through the mild, mediocre, but tasty (I am GF, soโฆ.) noodles, there were lots of broken noodle crumbs at bottom, and finally, little tiny bugs(probably from me not being able to figure out how to safely store my giant open bag of noodles. I expected several of the individually packed noodles I get in the store.

The product is good just make sure you get 48 pieces.
The box I got today was qty 24. Not 48.

Helpful product for macrobiotics or vegetarians
Love, love, love this product. Being macrobiotic (completely organic rice, beans, greens only) and having to cook every day, every meal, these organic rice noodles are a great help when there's not a pot of rice cooked and you want something pretty quick. They take about 5 minutes of actual cooking. Not as simple as the cheap ramen noodle packages from the grocery store (which we choose not to eat). They are from China, so I'm not totally sure I trust them to be 'organic' or even completely rice. But for right now, I'll use them. when you first start cooking them, they put off a lot of dark color (almost like it's a color additive). I'm not sure it is, but..... They are a darned helpful addition to the macro kitchen though, if they are what they say they are.
