This salt block is heavy! but the horses seem to like it.

Mare won't touch it for whatever reason.
My mare won't touch it. It has been out for a couple of months now, and she avoids it completely. She has no other mineral blocks, so she is not playing favorites or anything. She may just be an oddball though.

Why so expensive
I have never seen a salt block with Selenium cost more than $15. What is so special about this one to make it $60??

Natural enough, yellow iron oxide unnecessary
Doesn’t need the iron oxide for yellow color, other than that seems to be natural enough. Got for about 12 bucks at the local feed store. Uploaded a photo of the label you can actually read.
