A guided initiation to becoming an adept in Vampyre energy magick โข Explains how a Vampyre is not a blood-sucking mythical figure but a shaman who is skilled in gathering, using, and storing energy for magical power and personal liberation โข Reveals how to gather and store energy from the world around you and shares magical techniques, manifestation methods, and practices to utilize the energy you have collected โข Looks at servitors and familiars, vampyric runes, dream architecture, money magick practices, and sex magick techniques as well as advanced practices such as healing with vampyric magick In this initiatory guide, Don Webb explains how to learn from the myth of the vampire to gather, use, and store energy for magical power, manifestation, and personal liberation. A Master of the Order of the Vampyre within the Temple of Set, the author shares a 9-month process to awaken and initiate you as a Vampyre and allow you to actualize your hidden potential. Webb begins by explaining how to gather energy from the world around you and store it in the body, in artifacts and talismans, and in groups of people, such as a coven. Through the 9 stages of initiation, the author offers guided magical techniques, manifestation methods, and experiments to utilize the energy you have learned to gather and store. He also examines familiars, Vampyric runes, money magick practices, and sex magic techniques. Sharing more advanced practices, Webb looks at the creation and destruction of egregores and how to fight off psychic vampires--those who steal your power and energies. Achieve greater self-knowledge, a deeper connection with the energies that surround you, and the power to manifest your deepest desires by walking the path of the Vampyre. Review: I think Don Webb cast a spell on me - Every time I read one of Mr. Webb's books, I feel as if he is pulling some of my Energy to himself; then, I read Energy Magick of the Vampyre, and realized that he truly IS taking some of my Energy.... But he is also sending some of his Energy out to his readers, as well. This is not a book for vampire fan-boys/girls. This is not about drinking blood. This is not about dressing up like Tom 'Middle-Tooth' Cruise in Interview with the Vampire. This is about learning about the currents of Energy within the universe, especially those inside/between other human beings, and how to affect them. Mr. Webb's laid-back writing style makes this book a perfect read for those of us who get bored with the more stuffy, scholarly occult books, where authors try and impress the reader with their erudite tomes. This is an 'everyday' occultist's book, which is easier to read and digest. That said, it is NOT 'dumbed down' or lacking in discipline and deep subject matter; quite the contrary. If you use this book in the way Mr. Webb suggests, you can find a pathway to immense satisfaction in your magical life. I've taken many nuggets from this book that I find are changing the way I look at Energy and the use of Will in my workings. This book has great background/biographical information on many 'famous' figures in the LHP community, as well. Aquino (both Michael and Lilith), Dr. Flowers, Mrs. Webb, Crowley, and others. Definitely add this book to your library. It is worth it. (Now that I've written this review...I'm wondering if I did it of my own free will, or did Don Webb influence my Energy.....and influence me to write this? I'm going to go with what I've learned in this book and say a bit of both) Review: extremely revealing - I have moral dilemma problems with some of the things in this book (which is a personal awakening struggle that I am going through in my life, therefore my own problem);(I also am not at liberty to tell anyone else how to live life, or what path they should take in thier awakening), but holy sh$!... This guy has a fantastic style of writing (captivating to say the least), and a grand knowledge about the astral energetics of the human condition. I originally got this book at the request of a Thelemite friend that would talk with me giving me tips on certain issues when I would ask about certain issues. I picked the book up and I, (due to my moral dilemmas), thought: "I'll just read it to see if I can glean something out of it to help me understand my awakening problems that I have been suffering". I thought I would just use it to understand the energy depletions I have been suffering, and not use the methods at all, but the knowledge and insight alone that it has given me started to open my eyes up to what is going on with me energetically and why I have been suffering from my awakening; I knew this all intuitively anyways, but this has been covered up by the pain) I will have to finish the book before I make judgements about the practice and employment of these tactics and the motive behind it's practice. Until then all I can say is wow! He is an amazing writer and extremely knowledgeable and intelligent, as well as an obvious adept at what he knows. If nothing else, great understanding can be extracted out of this book and if the practices are put to use, can be distilled into forming a new life (if this is your thing). I take people for what they are, and give due props when they are deserving; hats off to you Don Webb!

Thanks Mr. Webb!
About a year ago I found a most interesting book on Kindle Unlimited- MindWar by Col. Michael A. Aquino. Over the summer and fall of 2022 I read through most of his books and found the answers to many existential questions! Learning the "how" and "why" of it all has been a great benefit to me- there is a better man in the mirror than just last year. Around the start of this year I found myself with more questions. The most important question is-"Do I need to join The Temple of Set to have a relationship with, as well as use the Gift, Words, And Formulae of The Prince Of Darkness in a responsible and ethical manner"? Where is the fence and all that? That's where Don Webb and this book come in. I learned the answer to my main question and more! I learned more about the magas/Mages, their Words and Formulas, and what is and is not possible with black magic. I learned the real difference between sorcery and the transformative power of black magic. I also learned about purple, red, and gold magic. I could keep going, really, and all for the dirt-cheaprice of $16.99! Mr. Webb has a talent for explaining these lofty concepts- moving from "seasoned pro" to "average Joe"; sometimes in the same paragraph! As for joining The Temple of Set- I've decided instead to join The Satanic Temple! That way I can get out more in the objective universe and my communtity. My wife, also is an atheist with zero interest in magic. Transformative Setian magic is something I can study and practice privately. So I'll say it again- thanks Mr. Webb! My name is KwanSeWa O'HaWas (SunSet Raven in Algonquin, yes I have a tribal card), a proud descendant of both Pocahontas and Sven Forkbeard- I am grateful.

A great contribution to furthering Vampyre Magick
This book is more about energy than just Vampyres. How to enhance energy, amplify it, shape it and transform it. What is great about this book is the positive and empowering spin on self improvement. Anyone can learn a great deal and further their own Xeper / Zhep'r with this book. I love the spelling of Vampyre with a Y in the title, as this is something I have been doing since 1994 to determine the difference between fiction (vampire) and practice / lifestyle / path (Vampyre). Let us bring this spelling to the forefront again! The initiation system of nine words of power is very interesting, each teaching a different lesson and ritual over a nine month period. There is even a neophyte level to called โVampyre Liteโ to test out the concepts. What I can say is that this book perfectly is compatible with the perspectives of the Ordo Strigoi Vii and the Black Veils Vampyre traditions. I encourage my students and followers, plus all who want a better VC to read this book to test and experiment with its teachings. Do I see a trend of a mysterious, empowered and energy amplified Vampyre Current & Culture rising after the pandemic? I firmly think so and this book is a great contribution to this vision. But only results matter and itโs up to each individual to better themselves for a better community. Don's writings in this book contribute another fresh and insightful reinforcement to the Vampyre Current while revealing the origins of the word VAMPYRE with a Y in esoteric use.

Grateful
I recommend this book to anyone practicing any sort of energy manipulation. It is a perfect reference manual to get inspired in energy works and to formally conceptualize into words what a fledgling has been doing out of pure "inspiration" during their private practice. It has a great rereading value, it is not a book to sift through or power read. It is a book of applied practicality. Read, execute and take notes. My words of Gratitude: I honestly started reading the book at a strange moment in my life, something in me had been "Calling" to learn energy manipulation and transmutation. Heck, just before I started the book I had a failed experiment with energy transmutation and had a "short circuit" effect. Felt like dying for two days, a Gnostic friend tried to help me rebalance my body's energy flow, but it was ultimately my friend cat from nature that helped and taught me how to transfer energy. Yes, a cat, orange tabby that lived in the condo's gardens. Niko, may you rest in peace. Before his departure, I bought the book and after Niko was no longer of this plane, I felt what he taught me come to being in this book. As I read through the pages, I realized Niko had taught me in practice more than I had been previously aware. This book has encouraged my practice in great strides and even my health has improved physically and emotionally from my daily workings with energy. Always balancing my body, space and steads of power. Thank Uncle Setnakt, your words have inspired me into furthering my studies with a guiding lamp in the midst of the darkness created by ignorance and inexperience.

Packed with tons of information, yet easy to read!
This book is fantastic. Itโs well written and well organized. The author lays out exactly what is covered in each section, and then explains each conceptโall the while keeping it organized. One of the aspects of this book that I really enjoyed was the case studies and examples which allow the reader to experience each part of the book and claim strong experience for their practice. Finally, this book is centered around a โtoolkitโ type approach, providing the reader tools and frames which allow them to build their own practice. One such example is the rite within one of the first 4 chapters that allows readers to customize and use it for pretty much any working. I highly recommend this book to anyone who has been searching for new approaches and practices or the seasoned practitioner looking to spruce up their practice. There is something in this book for everyone.

Energy of Vampyre Magick
Using the motif and legends of the vampyre author Don Webb constructs a framework for increasing energy and self improvement by combining in esoteric methods of yoga and yantra energy work. The book is divided Into 4 parts or book. The first book gives the basics of a vampyre to the reader. This part gives over definitions of vampyre and energy work. The second book renders rituals dedicated to increasing ones vampyre nature. Among the magicians celebrated in this section are Beverly Randolph Pashcal, Aleister Crowley, Anton LaVey, Edred Flowers, Michale and Lilith Aquino to name a few. The third book has actual exercises and meditation that you can use. A favorite is the demon exorcism where in a demon from your own energy advises you on bad decisions after which it dissolved back into your energy. Book 4 goes over Transylvanian lore and some basics from the temple of Set. Vampyre Magick is definitely left handed path Magick aimed at making you achieve godhood and maximize your potential. The vampyre is the master seducer, warrior and magician . The object is to increase ones power and influence in the material world. This means getting better jobs, mates etc. I highly recommend this book.

Meh
Don Webb is my favorite occoult author, who constantly grows in popularity, and I could recommend his books to anyone but this is a very niche subject and I would say be prepared and consider the subject matter and if it appeals to you. Good book but it is for a smaller audience and I don't Think I'm in that demographic

Don Webb's Best Book Yet
The Order of the Vampyre is one of the least understood facets of the Left Hand Path initiatory organisation the Temple of Set. Author Don Webb provides an archaic/folklore-informed framework to examine the Vampyre as a Western transformational archetype rooted in the Saxon-Romanian beliefs of Transylvania. Webb's personal synthesis of Magic as a truth process (with a nod to philosopher Alain Badiou) expands the Aquino-Flowers LHP model into new territory. A significant part of this book is a nine month Scholomance curriculum that explores the LHP philosophies of Paschal Beverly Randolph, Aleister Crowley and Anton LaVey with new insights on the magic of Lilith Aquino, Guiniviere Webb and Robertt Neilly. There is an excellent section on vampire pathologies and Vampyric ethics, and on overcoming the major challenges of initiatory pathwork. Webb's pedagogy includes life analysis; perception exercises; an FAQ; suggestions for group work; a recommended curriculum; E. Gerard's influential essay 'Transylvanian Superstitions' which novelist Bram Stoker used to write Dracula; a fictional short story; and a closing memoir about Webb's initiatory experiences at his first Temple of Set Conclave. This is Webb's best book yet, and also his most personal and emotional.

Misleading title
I was recommended this book by some people in a facebook group of being a good source of information about Psychic Vampyrism techniques. and it got generally good reviews. There is very little in here about Psychic Vampyrism which I assumed the book was about or energy manipulation. It is mainly about changing your emotional state, which is more like entry level hermetic techniques combined with NLP. There are one or two paragraphs on absorbing ambient energy, which is the sort of thing I was after, but all it says is to go into the woods or dangerous precipice where you feel emotionally charged and breathe out bad energy and inhale good energy. That was more or less it. Apart from that, there are a number of chapters looking at different currents in the occult, as a high level overview for beginners, and providing a couple of very basic techniques from each. That seems to be quite common for books on 'vampyre magick', as there isn't really any tradition as such, nearly all of it is stolen from other LHP modern traditions and adapted to be a bit more gothic. So whilst this may be moderately interesting for some, the superficial treatment means that it is not really very useful. There is a section at the end of the book on what films to watch that are regarded as classics by people with a fetish for the Vampyre subculture, which don't directly relate to anything they actually do. To include such a thing in a book on Vampyre Magick is ridiculous IMO. The writing style is annoying and overly dramatic American English in places, which I find unbearable, esp. the examples of situations examining shifts in emotional state. Change your emotional state, have more energy; manipulate situations to be the centre of attention like a narcissist - this is not necessarily anything to do with Vampyrism, let alone Pranic or Psychic Vampyrism. It seems many books on the subject can't tell the difference between actual Psychic Vampyrism and NLP or body language. I believe that many people like to call themselves Vampyres because of the image, so they can take selfies with toy store fangs or intentionally damaged teeth, and thus has a rather wide definition of what it is, so they can claim to be part of it or embodying the entirety of it. Or it is dishonest marketing as they can sell more books if they use the word Vampyre in the title. In my view, the author could have summarised the main points of changing emotional states in a few paragraphs and without the cringe inducing examples, and merely written it as a blog or facebook post. So basically it is really underwhelming. Having an endorsement from Thomas Karlsson surprised me, perhaps he just wants to be associated with anything 'bad ass' to boost his rep or it was a personal favour. Who knows!

Easy to read, a practical and insightful guide. Suits a variety of esoteric pathways as similar principles used in rituals. No bloodwork required.
