Bean Box Gourmet Coffee Sampler - 6-Month Gift Subscription

This is a tremendous idea. Hence why I purchased it. Love the concept of trying new coffees I wouldn't otherwise know about. And smaller samplings are not the problem (see more later) either. All that is excellent...Two major issues, one minor one.Minor one -- I have only seen this with one other whole bean I can remember. But all these left shells or shucking dust everywhere! It was ridiculous. I have no clue if it is the process or the type of bean or what. But it was a mess and I drink a ton of coffee and grind everything in my OXO grinder. Nothing makes the mess this stuff did.Major #1 -- The description is misleading and the packets were WAY smaller than I anticipated and expected. You get literally enough for two big cups of coffee. That in of itself isn't a problem (see above) it is sheer cost for what you get. I can buy an entire bag or 10-16oz of other brands like Door County or New England coffee for that price per each. Unreal.Major #2 -- Not much to say here but none of the coffees I would ever buy, ever. One was so so and the other 3 were dreadful for me. Taste is subjective but in general these were not good coffees. Plain and simple.Wonderful concept, wish it was a better experience I would buy many times over just to try other coffees I don't know about but no way would buy this again!

Read the reviews carefully! My fault; I was in a hurry, needed a cool xmas gift asap. Now I"ve paid $28 for 4 tiny bags (less than 2 ounce seach) of coffee & this no longer is a cool gift. As the other reviewer mentioned, this IS a great concept, curated artisan coffees from small batch roasters, & I had hopes to set up a subscription as a long-term gift. But oops, this is a "sample" of coffee. 1.8 ounces is such a tiny gift, that it leaves you & the gift receipient a little underwhelmed. Also important to note--if you purchase this directly from Bean Box, the monthly charge is only $16.50. Normally before clicking "Add to Cart" I cross-reference & check the original websites, but as I said, I was in a hurry, and missed the fact this coffee box is massively overpriced here.

I order these types of coffee samplers all the time on Amazon. It's a fun way to sample many different types of coffees. This time, however, I felt a bit burned. And it's all on me.The pack does indeed come with four different coffees, but the quantity of each is so small you're lucky to get maybe half a pot of coffee brewed from them. To be fair they listed the weight of the packets in the description that I did not read far enough into. But I hope reviews like this will help people spend a little more time on the listing to know what they're actually getting.The quality of the coffee isn't the problem it's the quantity. Much smaller than any other sampler I've ordered recently.To add insult to injury they pack an advertisement in the box for a meal kit service. To be spending that much and have those dollars used to deliver an advertisement in the box feels a bit insulting. I'll pass from ordering more from these folks in the future.

Fantastic customer service. I made a mistake on my order and canceled within under a hour because the product wouldn’t arrive in time for a gift that I needed. Bean Box customer service replied back to me the next business day with a full refund and shipped the bean box anyway for me to enjoy. What business does that? A business that puts their customers first before money. Today I brewed the Drip Blend that was in the box and it blew my head off and knocked my wife off her feet. The coffee was AMAZING! Fresh and roasted with perfection. Probably one of the best coffee we’ve ever had and definitely on our top five list. Because of their customer service and coffee perfection they have gained a new customer that will be placing monthly orders. If you are reading this review and have been debating on placing an order, don’t miss the opportunity to try some of the best coffee ever and place an order NOW.

Good selection, but a small amount of coffee overall relative to its price. Wouldn't recommend overall.

This product is tiny!! I know it's a sample box but wow. You get 4 small bags, each is equal to one cup worth of coffee. Smells and tastes decent but nothing we'd reorder for the price point.

Got this for my brother as a Xmas gift so can't say how the coffee actually tastes :) I CAN say that it came nicely packaged and though the bags are small, it's meant to be a sampler so that probably should be expected. You can probably get a couple cups out of each one (and tbh some bags seem more full than others??). The "artisan treat" or whatever that came with it was just a tiny piece of chocolate (think jolly rancher sized) so that's not too exciting. I was hoping for biscotti or something like that! NBD though. Also, not sure about "tasting notes" but they're not in the box. I think you have to go to their website to read them. I am giving 5 stars because overall the box is what I expected and I'll be able to package it into a nice gift. Also, superb customer service--responded quickly and offered a great solution to my issue, so I am satisfied and thankful for that. Looking forward to what my brother thinks of this!

I got this for my wife and she loved the way it was packaged and the flavors. It was the only sampler I could find that was decaf. She tried all the flavors and love all of them. I don't drink coffee but they smelled great. These were packaged nicely in small bags. Perfect as a sampler. My wife ended up a bigger bag of 2 of the 4 she tried. Not sure what the flavors were but I plan on getting here another sampler with different flavors.I'm giving this 5 stars because it was just supposed to be a nice gift and it ended up being one of one my wife's favorite things I got here

This was a fantastic buy. The coffee is delicious and it is nice to have a variety of coffee's in one stop shopping. The all in pricing and Fedex shipping was convenient and incredibly fast. Bean Box was quick to answer any questions I had before I placed my order. Would absolutely purchase again. The delivery and customer service exceeded expectations.

The coffee was good. But neither the quantity nor the quality justified the price.
