Easy to use, works great!
I just needed wood stain for a small project and didn't want to buy a whole bucket of it. These cloths worked perfect! The picture I took shows without the stain, one coat, and 2 coats. It was very easy to use, and came with a pair of gloves. I stained the front of 25 5x5 inch squares 2 times with 4 cloths. It dries very quickly too. I'll definitely be ordering again. They have a slight odor, but not enough to make me want to wear a mask or open a window. I ordered the natural oak color.

Great for Makers
I used these wipes to stain and finish my mobile pieces. The ship's wheel piece is the main part thay was stained, but all pieces were stained in order to make the gold paints over the portholes pop more. I really liked this product and was very confused to read the negative reviews. Here's a few clarifying points: โขWhen reviewers say "good for small projects," that's rather subjective. It would have been very silly for me to buy a whole can of stain for an 11" x 14" mobile, but these wipes worked great. Would I use these to finish an end table like the lady in the video did? No, just get a sample can of stain and call it a day. โขYour first pass with the wipe does go on rather thick. The way I found that worked best was to thoroughly wipe down one side of my project, flip it to wipe down the other (non-visible in the finished product) side, and then go back over the front with the stain wipe to smooth out any drips/concentrated areas. 1 minute or so later, wipe off the excess with a towel. Worked great. โขNot sure who I need to say this for, but you still need to sand after you stain. I also finished my pieces with clear acrylic paint and then sanded that, and the end result was nice and smooth - almost soft. Definitely use this for small or flat projects. If your finished piece is bigger than a microwave, just get the can of stain and a brush.

Easy to use
Minwax Wood Finish is easy to apply and gives a rich, even color that really highlights the wood grain. The finish looks great and dries fairly quickly. A reliable choice for both small DIY projects and furniture refinishing. Only down side is that I wish I could later it to get a darker color. Doesn't really do much.

Dirty looking color.
Great idea. However the color was muddy looking. Not a warm pretty oak color. Made furniture look dirty. Not sure how I'm going to reverse this.

These will ruin your large project
I thought these would be easier than multiple coats of conventional stain, I was wrong. There is not a lot of stain on the wipes and it is thick. It dries quick and leaves streaks and looks blotchy no matter how well you apply it. The product also builds up easily on your gloves and the wood then is impossible to blend in. I applied this after conditioner and stain and it looks like garbage, this might be suitable for very small projects but for large pieces run away. I even tried adding more stain on top and scrubbing it with a rag but it will not blend in. Now I either have to re sand or strip this piece wasting a lot of time. Also this color does not exist in conventional stain so you're stuck with it if you start a project with it.

Great ๐
A little messy but look great. Stain doesn't fade.

Crafty
These cloths are a breeze to do small crafting jobs without wasting a big can. I bought the natural oak and chestnut for a variety of signs I am making. They are messy, so make sure you are using a drop cloth or work with them on a protected surface. The first application is thick almost like paint, but evens out once you rub it in. The key to not have the stain look like paint is to let it dry for about 2 minutes or less then wipe the surface off with a damp rag/towel. The excess will come off and still leave the stain. Depending on your base, you may have to do a few layers. FYI-neither color came with the glove that is mentioned in the video.

Excellent coverage and finish
I loved these! I refinished the tops of my bedroom furniture and my stairs with them. After a light sanding, I applied a mahogany stain over very light finished wood. The coverage was excellent and the finish was flawless.
