The quality is very good and it’s very sturdy and easy to extend and cuts very well. I wasn’t expecting the quality to be so good for the price, such good value for money!

I used this to lop the top off a cherry tree. The chopping mechanism was surprisingly good. The saw function is a bit on the flimsy side and difficult to use at height

Excellent easy to use item which was excellent v.f.m. The only negative would be how loose some of the screws & bolts were but easily rectified. I've added a washer to the bolt on the sliding link to make it a bit stronger / more secure. All in all happy with item & as long as you don't try & cut off branches that are thicker than the instructions suggest you shouldn't have an issue with it.

Its hard to rate, item is pretty bad, but it only cost £15 at time of purchase, which is nothing, so I'll give an average 3 stars.The saw is flimsy, bends all over the place making cutting hard, the wing nut that holds the saw has no bite, so always getting lose which is very frustrating. The locking mechanism of the telescopic pole itself is really bad, constantly getting lose almost immediately, the bolts that keep all the mechanisms and head together are far too long, so the rope keeps getting caught too.Overall massively annoying to use and a lot of faff, having to bring the pole back down over and over to re-tighten everything after literal minutes made the job twice as long... But... Was only £15, and it did the job in the end. I'll only need to use it like once a year to trim my single small tree.If you need to use yours more, get something more robust.

Used this product once and found the saw very flimsy due to its lack of thickness. In fact I was half way through cutting a 50 mm branch off our crab apple tree and the saw blade came adrift and fell off!Also one of the retractable poles has become firmly fixed so it cannot be retracted, making the device more difficult to store.All in all, a flimsy piece of kit.

A bit flimsy and the cord for operating the shears is too stretchy. But good value for such a low cost.
