Full disclosure, I have never been a fan of massage seats, they have always disappointed. Due to chronic lower back pain I bought this one on its recommendations and boy, it doesn't disappoint at all. Firstly it is well boxed with no wasted plastic and rubbish (which is important) and immediately ready to use. Though I read the instructions you really don't need to, the controls are very intuitive and easy to use. The back pad gives a firm but not painful massage from very low to a reasonable height. I am 6'4" so the top of the back massage is just below my shoulder blades, but my wife is 5' as the back pad covers her back well. I am not disappointed with this cover for myself as it works well and feels great. The neck massage is truly height adjustable and I can vary this from my shoulders to the top of my neck, once again a firm and comfortable massage. (NOTE, my 5' wife found the neck massage was too high for her and didn't use it. However this is not a serious problem as the neck massage on this is really a support for the back massage and if you really need intense neck massage you should get a massage pillow that you can lie on and not use this in a seated position...it works much better for the neck). I have never been a fan of vibration massage and I did not know this had air massage points so I was not worried about these. I sat down and tried the back massage (excellent) experimented with spot massage on certain points (works excellently) and played with the neck massage (very nice) and then I saw the button marked "Auto". I pressed this and...OMG...WOW...it just started to combine all the elements including vibration and air massage and I nearly melted. The total effect is beyond the sum of the parts and each work well together, constantly altering and changing slowly to give a relaxing but never boring massage. I now use these even if I'm doing a spot massage on my lower back as the added vibration and air squeezing etc all help you relax into the important bit of the massage. Given that you can set this chair to focus on one thing, or do several...or just go on auto it is very, very flexible. And believe me, when you press auto it just takes over and carries you away, it's honestly wonderful. For direct problems I would say this chair is most suitable for back issues. You can focus on lower back or mid back etc and get an intense massage. If you put a cushion behind the rigid back so that you are laying back on it at an angle of about 20 to 25 degrees then the pressure increases and the massage is more intense. For neck massage it is fine, it will definitely help, but as I say for more intense neck massage you are better with a massage pillow. However, to get the neck massage as an extra while your back is being relaxed is brilliant. The seat mechanisms, vibration and air massage, are very pleasant in association with the rest but are not in themselves very therapeutic so this is not for really useful for problems with the Gluts or leg muscles. (No massage chair would be good for that, it is a different area and probably needs manual massage). However the intense back massage, the decent neck massage and the overall relaxing and therapeutic feel of the whole thing working together is WAY beyond my expectations and this is the first massage chair I would recommend in any way, and I recommend it very strongly. NOTE; It is easy to fold the seat up and slide this into a small space when not in use, easy and quick to get back out and very intuitive to use with an excellent controller. If you have a sore back, or if you just want the option to sit down for 15 minutes whenever you want and be treated to a delightful massage and pamper then get this, you won't be disappointed. I received the product today and first time tried it - it is as if the designer had everything in mind, the remote control has really nice design, the motor ‘/rollers are powerful and strong. At £199, at first I was wondering if it was the same as the Comfier had the price dropped to around £157. Snailax advertised as an “upgrade” and I can confirm the upgrade is the additional rollers for the back so you have 4 rollers instead of two! So I can understand why it’s £199, same price as the dollars sold in the (US? $199). 🤔 Tomorrow I will try the product on a recline position as shown by other proud owners on this review. The only thing that did not fit properly, is the office chair which is ergonomically designed - Herman Miller. If you have this office chair you will see the back is curved in whereas Snailax needs a flat surface, so it will never fit in. I had to find a chair with a flat back to enjoy the first session. It felt really good, I was surprised the head roller would work on my shoulders, 10/10. With nice music on the background, it was a good 15 mins work out. Update 26/10/26. After 2 months, the massager is still in the same chair and still happy using it. At first, the roller was quite hard and notice one other customer mentioned the same. I think if you use it gently and not lean on the rollers too hard and let the hardness settle, your body will adapt over time to the hardness of the roller. It worked for me. Now it’s approaching winter, aches and pains on shoulders or headache even, this massager does bring relief, just ensure you turn in the heat to enjoy the session.

It's my first massager of this type so I don't have anything to compare it to but I enjoy it a lot. Helped me loosen up painful knots which didn't want to go away for over a month before. It's comfortable, the two massaging circles which go up and down around the spine are firm but not too painful. I like the seat vibration option too. Unfortunately, the back matt doesn't cover my entire spine and I'm not very tall (5'46). This is workable though, I do my first 15 minutes on the massager as is and then sit on some pillows to make it go lower or slide down to make it reach higher. The heat option is nice, but it takes at least 20minutes of massage to heat up and do not expect a lot of heat. It definitely helps loosen muscles up though during a long massage. The remote is easy to use, however it gives you only 5,10 and 15minute timer and it goes on automatically to full back when you switch it on rather that allowing you to choose your option. You need to change it while it's already working. It's not really a problem though, I turn it on, then change to options I want and after 15min when it goes off I do this again. I suffer for back pains brought by poor posture and long hours of daily desk work. I use back brace in front of my desk through the day and use this massager after work and this seems to help greatly. I would recommend the product to anyone who struggles with stiff back muscles and pain. It helps and the price seems reasonable for what it is.

We ordered this as I had a lower back disc herniation. The hope was that this would help heal faster, or just relieve some of the pain. I used it for the first few weeks, every single day after work. Now I use it as and when needed. But to be fair for the price, it is a good bit of kit, and worth purchasing. The only thing I did find is that I need to sit on a pillow for it to get right into the low back region. But again, I think this would just depend on the chair you’re in, and how tall you are. This was a really a non-issue to be fair but worth mentioning. The heat is good, the only slight issue or grumble that I have, is that if you pause it in the same space, so it keeps mass charging the same section of back, then the balls, revolve, clockwise, paws, then revolve counterclockwise. Which is slightly annoying when you’re right on the spot, and you just wanted to keep massaging continuously. But again, not a massive issue.. I assume this is done because of the way it’s built. Appearance is as seen in the photos, I don’t think anybody buys these things for it to be an accessory in their front room. Or Office. But overall clean and tidy. Multiple settings, including upper back, lower back and all over. Plus heat and vibration, which are handy.

Please read if thinking of buying. I used the vibration masage before but it wasnt much this one was just what i needed, i operate tower cranes daily and my back is suffering from it but this back massage cushion is perfect it revived my back it has the right intensity as well, both me and my wife we love it. Ive seen some bad reviews here about it but thouse ppl must have been made out of paper or realy obese and must have put a lot of pressure on the masage rollers as they were complaining of sour back and such. None of that here. If you drive a lorry, crane, forklift or have back pain that you need to crack it and pop it all the time this is briliant. If its to intense just dont lean so hard onto it or add a blanky on top. For me it was perfect as it was i used if for an hour with no problems the manual says to use it for 15 minutes but each to its own needs. My back was fully revived after this compared to my usuall routine of getting home and trying to make my back crack or pop to get the pain away and laying down on the floor. I used mine on a pc/office chair and used a pillow at the base of the back cussion to raise it to get some massage session for my neck as well. The range it moves up and down is just right for myself 1.70m tall as it gets down to the lower back at the kidneys and up to the nape of my neck. As i said i used vibrating ones but all they did was numb the pain for a few minutes that is all, this one actually massages your back as it should be. Worth the price. Downside i wouldnt use it in the crane as it is a bit bigger or in car as if u put to much pressure it could hurt because when u are driving a car/machine your concentration is elswere and wont notice that you are putin high presure and you could end with a sour back but at home after work or when you have some free time is perfect !! Great product from Snailax !!! Definetly recomend!!

For a first use, it's pretty good. With all the functions and buttons, it's like a spaceship, not a massage chair 😄. Very well made. You'll have a blast playing around with the buttons. Make sure you put it on a straight chair or surface and adjust the back. After some fiddling around trying to find your best position, you'll figure it out. Heat level is decent, not too hot. It's pleasant. It fits well on most surfaces. We'll update if it keeps the shape and quality over time. Happy with the purchase. Update - After a few uses, the back actually started to hurt even worse. The "shiatsu" massage balls are super hard and actually hurt the back 😭. This is either for some really THICK skin or someone who doesn't have any back issues. I'm honestly disappointed this did not do the job. Oh well, it was worth a try.

I have had this device for 1 hour - and I already think it's the best investment I ever made. My back has been killing me for a year and whether this fixes it or not, just the instant relief is enough. A very, very happy customer. BIG CAVEAT. I have now overused the massager, running 1 hour sessions and 'leaning into it' as it were, and have damaged my back further. It still deserves 5 stars - but it has 15 minutes max for a reason.

This massage system is absolutely a breeze I used it almost daily for the last few days and it feels great. It can be tough or gentle and the fun fact is you can easily adjust its strength of it by adding a layer of cloth. Quality - 5 Star Build quality is really good and it can easily withstand a weight of around 80kg there was no issue with the massage of the motors Noise - 4 Star After 6 days of using the massage, i am getting a slight noise from the neck side motors but it's not major Price - 5 Star I will recommend this price as you can not get this quality of massage chair for this price tag Customer Service - 5 Star Nothing so far but I have contacted them to activate my 2-year free warranty and they did that immediately and told me it's done! Features - 5 Star They have to think of every possible feature including positioning of massage heads, vibration, air massage, and heat, and they did a great job it's really very easy to use! Overall its an amazing product and not to be missed!
