As per Indian standards, this pen should have cost between ₹500 to ₹1000. 5k is too steep a price for this product.Writing is decent. Feedback feels sweet. I have a 14Kt medium nib which feels smoother than this steel fine nib. But it will likely improve with prolonged use (as noted with my previous sailor pen).The nib looks so lackluster. A narrow, small nib. The elegance associated with expensive pens is completely missing here.

Fine nib is nice to write with and the cap seals well allowing for use over prolonged periods without having to worry about ink drying in the pen.

This Sailor was purchased for my collection. As with most Sailor pens, the Uchimizu is a relatively light pen which works well for extended writing. The logo engraved steel nib is an excellent writer, never a hard start and the consistent ink flow is a treat. Beautiful blue demo transparent cap and barrel attracts attention, esp. when filled with royal blue ink. Should have an ink converter included with the pen. Just the right size when posted. Extremely happy with purchase and it arrived ahead of schedule from Japan.
