this was very large; but we love it: I brought it in anticipation for the arrival of my grandson thinking it would be perfect for "baby's first pictures" it's still a very cute shirt with good material so it will last a long while; and can be passed down. I got size newborn. my grandson was 71b 12oz and it was too big. But once again the shirt is absolutely cute
