Perfect
This cap is the bomb! Ducking my head into that first wave in sub-60 degree water, and it's like you didn't even do it. The size chart was accurate, and it fits well. The fleece liner is great and dries out for me in 5-10 minutes after getting out. I thought the chin strap would bother me, but it doesn't in the slightest. Even when water gets in my ears, it is warm now, and very comfortable. This one is worth the slightly higher price for sure.

The best skull cap
I saw a winter swimmer wearing a similar cap a year ago, got intrigued and found the Blueseventy Thermal Neoprene Skull Cap. I bought it and have never regretted. Easy to put on and off, no problems ending my swimming routine with the cap falling off, my head is kept warm and comfortable. No problem to add goggles or a snorkel. During the winter time, I don't leave home without this precious part of my winter swimming gear.

The "New Standard" for Cold Open Water
Go to any Cold Water TriAthlon and you will ubiquitously find this Swim Cap along w the Blue Seventy Booties... your Wetsuit will only warm your core body, Not your "Contact Points" which is your Face, Hands, and Feet. This lid goes a long way in ensuring maximum heat retention. The Forehead seems more exposed than other caps, but simply adjust it forward for that extra inch. The back of your neck won't miss it all. Also, the Snug Fit disappears once wet. Wear waterproof ear plugs for complete chill resistance, try WalMart or Amazon. The Thermal version featuring Zirconium Orange Fleece Linining, is the Cat's Meow. Also, the thermal booties are an inch + longer than the non-thermal. Unless you swim in warm water or are on a budget, pay for the Zirconium. It's the Gift that keeps on Giving... ps/ Your hands will numb if gloves are not allowed, but head and feet will be a non-issue, and you will wonder why in the world isn't everyone else sporting this protective gear. The booties are a Must have as well... takes "That Chill" out of play 90%, most folk can deal w the ten percent discomfort if they competing in the first place. Hope this helps. PS/ Lake Cahuilla Palm Springs High Dessert, 54°, was like an Alpine Fjörd... you'd be Cray to not be rocking Thermal Blue 70, jussayin! The gear made it enjoyable once u get rolling... also easy On and Off. Booties while snug, need good technique and practice, don't wait till Race Day like I did...

LOVE the Thermal Scull Cap
LOVE the Thermal Scull Cap, this is the second pair I bought, the Large fits my husband great, he has a fairly large head for a man. My size is Medium and I have a large head for a woman and it fits perfectly. We both use these in the swimming pool in California for comfort and heat. They are not too hot for us. A great advantage is no interference when using a snorkel and mask. Protects ears very well, both for cold and sound. The strap was a little tight the first day or two, then fine. We are looking forward to using them in the ocean this spring/early summer.

Perfect cap for late/ early season
This cap works great and keeps your head dry and warm. The regular neoprene cap is very warm too and I have used both in water temps as low as 49 degrees. This one with the extra thermal insulation helps even stay warmer although with both caps, you still need to use a regular cap over it to cover up a forhead gap or you will get an ice cream headache.

a lot smaller than the size chart
It definitely is warm and does the job but I was between sized and went smaller. It much tighter than I was expecting based on the size chart.

Live Saver!
These are awesome for WA April swims. Water temps are very cold during that time, and I had some pretty epic swims. Definitely recommend.

Chin strap way too tight
Chin strap is way to tight. Makes this unuseable if you don't cut the strap

Super quick delivery. The first one I ordered was too small so I returned it and got a larger size (L) a few days later. Great service and love the product. It makes a huge difference in cooler temperatures.

Really good, stops ice cream forehead, and helps me enjoy swimming in colder water. Size large does fit XL ( 7 7/8 inch, 63 cm ) head, and is a good balance between being close fitting to work well, whilst not crushing or constricting. I forgot all about wearing it, only my bare hands and feet started to feel the cold water after an hour. Recommended.

I have a pretty large head for a man. The hat still fits well though. I live in the Shetland Islands and you can't get much colder than the North Sea to swim in and it keeps my head warm.

The swim cap arrived when it was promised to ... it is perfect for winter swimming and comfortable to put on and to wear. It dries quickly and we have recommended it to several other winter swimmers
