Autoshack Radiator Compatible with Toyota, Tacoma 1995-2004, L4 2.4L 2.7L V6 3.4L

The radiator didn't fit my truck but I did not realize that there's 2 different types of radiators for the tacoma. I tried to return the radiator ordered but I was told there was no need in returning it. I received a refund and called auto shack direct and I received the radiator my truck specifically called for and it's working perfectly. This mistake was entirely my fault and Noone else's.. I want to thank Amazon and I have prayed for God to bless each and everyone at Amazon and the owner as well. Thank you all very much. I want to humbly request that Amazon gets a customer service with actual members that are actually human beings and not a computer to speak with, even for customers questions before ordering or anything else the customer may need a human being for. This would have eliminated the error and mistake I made upon ordering. I'm not complaining about the product just making a suggestion and being grateful for the radiator from autoshack I finally received. Only problem was the shroud didn't exactly alighn up perfectly, however I can live with that especially after everything PEOPLE have done and helped me with getting the correct radiator. So for anyone reading this make sure you order the radiator specifically for your tacoma. Just because it says it fits your year, model etc.. doesn't mean it does. 99 Tacoma sr5 4wd 3.4 v6 has 2 styles one was for the column shifter the other was in the floor shifter, (my tacoma is in the floor) both automatics so be cautious when ordering. IT WILL MATTER which shifter yours is. God bless.

It was small for tacoma

amazon fitment said it fits my vehicle. I did not realize until i had already removed the old radiator and hooked up auto trans cooler lines and fully installed new one that it was way too short. I did not have time to wait for a replacement so I modified shroud and attached radiator with two top bolts only. Not happy. Also, the squeeze clamps used are very difficult to remove and replace, specially the auto trans cooler clamps. i do not know why the fitment tool said it fits

Definitely appears to be decent quality especially for 48 bucks. Literally everything lines up bolts and all except it's two inches too short at the bottom. It's so short that the bottom hose going to the motor cannot be used unless you cut and splice it with some type of radiator proof patch kit. I really need a radiator to get to work my old one was blown up so I made it up as I went to get this thing to fit. The fan shroud also does not fit because the bottom of it bumps into the bottom hose. I left it off for now to get to work and it actually seems to be keeping the engine cool and no leaks. Again seems very high quality I definitely not the right part for my truck maybe the four cylinder? I'm not even sure but it's literally perfect except for it being too short. Or anyone who wants to know I literally cut my old radiator plastic where the hose that goes to the motor mounts at the top and hose clamped that between the cut bottom hose. I cut about 4 inches out of the bottom hose and clamped it to make it shorter so there was no kink. Seems to be working great so far

I installed on 1998 Toyota Tacoma with manual transmission. Radiator comes with inlet/outlets for Auto trans as well although not used. Easy install with exception of fan shroud brackets are about an inch too wide. I was able to get bolts into one side but had to use big fender washers to catch the tabs on the other side. Great price! I hope it lasts half as long as the original which went 22+ years!
