Easy to set up and use. I needed this for my pond skimmer and its very powerful! My koi are loving it and I love having clean water for the fish.

We have used Tetra brand for years. Now my Mom has a home with a pond and I needed a pump that would stay put and not fall over with our winds. This one is heavy enough to stay upright and not fall over. Easy to rinse the inside filter out. Quiet and easy to install.

I have had this working in my pond for several months now without a single issue. Good pump volume, low noise and good suction. I purchased a net to go around it so no issues with the filter clogging up either. Good value and quality pump. Several accessories included as well

Pump works well, almost too well. I have a 7’ Grecian fountain that needed sufficient lift and flow to look right. It actually shoots about a foot higher than the fountain, which then causes considerable splash, and then consequently, an empty fountain after a few hours. I did not realize that it doesn’t have a flow adjustment when I bought it. I have tried to find an inline electrical “dimmer” type switch to bump down the supply voltage (which I haven’t found), tried obstructing the flow, and so far, nothing has worked. In my opinion, a fountain pump should have a flow adjustment built in, so that cost a star on my review. I have only had it installed for a few days so I cannot speak to longevity. I don’t want to have to replace it as the fountain is solid concrete and has to be disassembled with heavy machinery, but if I can’t figure anything else out, I may have to.

My water garden is 14 years old and is in direct sun all day .The pond is 12 X 15 feet and 2.5 feet deep ( 3 feet in the middle).I use the Tetra in pond skimmer, a UV light and a net over it to keep the herons out.I have two pumps in my water garden/Koi pond, one for the filter (a 4,000 gph) and one for the water falls (1,000gph).Last year I purchased a new Beckett water falls pump for $150 it lasted 3 months I will never ever buy one again.This Tetra pump is great, just right for the waterfalls, I have had it about a month hooked it up,plugged it in and viola runs great, very easy to install. I have always liked Tetra products my filter is also by Tetra .Both pumps run 24/7 /365 days a year. I also run an air pump 24/7/365. .It is a good price a quality product and a company that stands behind their products should their be a problem. Highly recommend.

So far so good. I have a box filter hooked up to it along with fountain and hose going to ole hand pump that spits water. Good steady flow to all. Very easy to set up once u find the rite connectors which are provided with pump purchase. Seems well made and easy to remove vented cage unlike others I have had. I will update if something goes wrong with it but for now after 3 days use im a happy camper. I have a 1000 gal. garden pond.

I am actually using this with a fairly small deck fountain I built. I had a smaller pump but it was hard to tell the water was even moving (this is a pour-over edge three level fountain). This pump really makes the fountain come to life, lots of visible water movement and a good calming trickle sound. I actually had to put a restrictor in the hose as there was so much water movement that the water was splashing out the edges of the fountain onto the deck.

This pump was great but lasted only 6 months. It simply just stopped working.I removed the screen and checked that the propeller was not stuck. Everything seems fine but it just won't pump water.***UPDATE. Customer service was nice. They replaced my old with a new one but i still had to pay $25 to ship my old one to them. Hopefully this new one works better.

Thought I ordered a new pond pump. Box came all beat up and it even had the other persons address on it. Where it was returned from. The pump was missing its 4 rubber feet and the discharge fittings. Runs OK though. Good thing I still had the old pump so I could take the old parts and add them to the new pump. I was desperate to get the pond operational again. If I knew this, from the beginning, I would not have ordered this Tetra 1000 GPH.
