Easy to install. I did it at 3am in the morning when I found it on the stoop of my house. I was expecting it but it was delivered after I retired for the night. Too excited to wait, I just did it. Works perfectly.

The Morse taper is well machined, chuck turns free and locks tight. I was expecting a low quality tool that would need work but I got a high quality chuck that is a pleasure to use. I use it on a harbor freight wood lathe and also an older south bend 9inch metal lathe. I do have to clean it really good when switching from metal to wood.

Bought this to work in conjunction with the pen blank holder, and I really like it, other than the fact that the tail could be shorter. I don't understand the black extension on the back, other than it makes the drill chuck stick out farther than is really necessary. Other than that it works just as it should.

Honestly never got the chance to put it to use but it replaced the one that was on there and it fits and locks in as it should

The chuck came in fast, installed it in CLAUSING drill press, the tapered shaft fits perfectly and it works very smoothly, it is a Morse Taper size 2 and it is the most common size used in drill presses.
