OTU Men's Lightweight Waterproof Hooded Rain Jacket Outdoor Raincoat Shell Jacket for Hiking Travel

I have had this coat for a year and a half and am really pleased with it. I live in the rainy part of the PNW and it has proven itself to be actually waterproof. I have been disappointed so many times by other coats claiming to be waterproof, only to end up soaked. This coat is also an ideal intermediate weight. It gives a little more warmth than a simple windbreaker without being hot. It is great for outdoor work or hiking. The best thing is the price (under $20) - no so different than buying a shirt. I highly recommend it and just ordered a second one as a backup so I won't worry about trashing the first one while working. Overall a great purchase

This was perfect for layering for our recent cruise to Alaska! It rolled up nicely and fit in my backpack (along with my wife's). We did not have any torrential downpours so I cannot speak to the true water resistance in heavy rain. However we did wear them on a 4 hour evening ATV tour through Denali National Park and they did the job!

Looks good, light weight jacket. Keeps light rain and mist off but it's not a real raincoat. Soaking rain will definitely make it through this fairly quickly. Also, it's comfortable if it's not too wet or hot or humid out, but it's no surprise that something that is intended to hold water out, also holds moisture in. So, you'll likely want some thin or absorbent layer between your skin and the sleeves so that you don't start to feel a little fetid in there. I do like this jacket though and this is the second one I've bought. Sizes were good. I got a Medium for both of mine and I'm about 170lbs. When I got them I paid about $40 each, which I considered a reasonable price for what it is. If it costs about that much when you are getting it, I would say it's a good pick. If it costs a lot more, you have some decisions to make.

Love this jacket. Got it for work Dec 2023 so I could stay dry and been seen while running around in the dark. Have had it just under 3 years. It's kept me dry up until last night Aug 2026, and for the downpour I was stuck in, I didn't get that wet. It's been washed at least 30 times and rained on countless times. Hoping that water proofing spray will make it water proff again but am still ordering another because this one has been great for so the abuse is gone through.

The jacket seemed fine, but I ordered an XL according to the fit guide, and it was way too big, had to return it. Update- I ordered a Large and it fit well (5’10”, 185#). Took the jacket to Alaska and it rained ALL WEEK. The jacket worked well as just a shell on some days, and as a rain jacket over my puffer jacket on other days. Zippers are great, hood great, inside zippered pocket is great. Kept me dry. I really like the metal gray finish and color.

Okay, I never got a chance to actually wear this in pouring rain just a light drizzle, so I decided to test it out with some heavy rain in my shower for a few minutes directly right on my head, now since I was using hot water in the shower you could definitely feel the temperature on the material, but as far as any type of water penetration or anything getting wet it works fine, and for the price you really can't complain, it's lightweight breathable, comes in a real cool winter camo color scheme, who has velcro around the wrist for a tighter fit to make it watertight ,zip up pockets, not to mention it'll keep you warm, I don't think this is a winter jacket but as far as the fall when it's raining and wet outside this will definitely keep you pretty warm, there is a liner on the inside of the jacket which definitely makes a difference as well, but I'm real happy that the extremely amazing price of this product doesn't affect the quality of this product, because usually you get what you pay for, but that's not the case with this product, so if you want to really good quality rain jacket, that has a warm liner, for colder weather, that'll keep you bone dry, especially for riding mountain bikes through the trails when it's raining, this is definitely a good deal, hopefully they'll make some different camouflage patterns, instead of just winter camo, what they need is woodland camo, now upon arrival there's definitely a couple of sewing strings little tidbits that you're going to have to take a lighter and kind of go over and fix yourself because it'll get in the way of the zipper, but it's probably because an assembly sewing machine is selling these jackets on an assembly line, it also has a concealed inside pocket, if you combine this rain coat with a heavy hoodie you're going to be good for the average cold weather conditions, but besides the little threads that are everywhere that you have to technically clean up with like a Bic lighter, this is definitely an excellent jacket, watertight, warm with an interior liner, had an excellent price.

Fits well, feels very comfortable. Nicely detailed. Zippered pockets. Stylish liner.
