SEIKO Presage Cocktail Time Automatic Watch for Men

This is a BEAUTIFUL watch. Very happy with my purchase, I get compliments constantly. The band is comfortable and easily adjustable. Definitely would recommend.

This is my first mechanical watch and I like it a lot. The dial is beautiful, reacts very well in light, the green and gold combination is great! Adjusting time and date is very easy as it only has one crown to adjust both.

Fully transparent here, I’ve had this watch for two months now. I replaced the strap immediately as most people recommended online and I’m glad I did because the original is very uncomfortable for me. Now I know you need to factor in the price for this next gripe, but, as people have mentioned, the automatic movement isn’t the most accurate. I’ve had to reset the time every couple weeks since it runs about 5 minutes slow. I keep it in a case that rotates the watch to keep it going. The positive? It’s a beautiful dial that really pops in the sunlight and it looks great on the cheap StrapCo leather strap in the picture. I’ll be keeping this one!

It was love at first sight for me. This green dial is phenomenal and after just three days of wearing it, I have lost count of the compliments it has received. IMO the wrist strap is poor. I also ordered a Barton replacement 20mm classic black leather with gold buckle and that looks and feels so much better than the stock strap. Many online reviews complain about the lack of the sapphire crystal (which is tougher than the stock) especially at this price point, but so far, so good. I'll primarily be wearing this when I am dressed up, which is not that often (I'm retired - no day job) so I am not that concerned. And really, if I (or you) wanted to, the sapphire crystals are not that expensive and could be easily added. This is not a diver so keep it as dry as possible. It is rated to just 5 bar so an occasional splash or a few rain drops should be AOK. Just don't shower with it. ;-) The users' manual is a download from Seiko. It is very easy to set (there are a few rules to follow for the date function) and after three days it has kept perfect time to the second. The second hand can be stopped so there are no issues to set to an exact time. It is automatic but can also be hand-wound (consult the manual) easily enough. I registered it on the Seiko web site - easy-peasey, for the three-year warranty. I absolutely LOVE this watch! It is my one and done for a dress watch.

Even though it is a beautiful watch, the green is darker than expected. & it is a bit too tight on the wrist for my husband. He is 6’5.

My husband and I chose this watch as a graduation gift for our son, and it's perfect. You get the fun of moving gears at the back without the distraction of it on the watch face. The automatic style means no winding and no batteries. The finish is beautiful, and the leather strap is high quality. We are satisfied with the purchase and know our son will love it.
