This is one of my all time favorite movies, and although it may sound silly having the steelbook edition really makes me feel like I'm giving it the respect it deserves. I'm not sure if this is a review of the movies itself, or the product I bought, but both deserve 5 stars. This edition has both the Blu-ray which gives the slightly more vibrant colors (if you care about stuff like that) but the DVD is perfect for my kids who want to watch it in the car where we only have portable dvd players. As for the movie itself, its the story of a girl overcoming her own crippling fears when her family needs her, and at the same time she improves the lives of everyone she meets. I love the movie, and I love this edition.

An absolutely beautiful edition for this movie. Comes with amazing content. Can anything really go wrong with Studio Ghibli? I actually find the quality and appearance of this edition nicer than the original for the same, or even more, pricing. Definitely recommend.

A must have for fans everywhere!

Must have for your collection.

One of miyazaki's best works. I would assume everybody knows the story so I won't review it but more of the material here. It's an absolutely timeless story with fantastic artwork. The steelbook itself is stellar. Absolutely attention-grabbing and fantastic and it's collectible appearance. The Blu-ray transfer is excellent color pops appropriately. I'm a 4K snob but I don't miss it in this. Absolute must have for any art fan

we have been waiting for this movie in English and Blu-ray. This is what we are looking for.

Five stars for this brilliant animated feature, a movie that deserves every superlative heaped upon it. Three stars for the limited edition steelbook which might possibly really be made of steel but it so sheer it feels like plastic. But it does look pretty swift and it is a limited edition. Perhaps it will appreciate in value over time?

If you're in the EU and if you do not have a region-free Blueray/DvD player, DO NOT BUY this. It's not coded for EU region and the player will NOT read it. I made the mistake and have to return them as I will not buy a region free player.
