I'm re-reading this book. I read it about ten years ago, and have read it internittenally since. This book remains one of my all time favorites. It works. It completely changed the way I thought about life and my life for the better. It gave me ideas which vastly improved my life in all areas. Shakti has a way of taking wise, profound, unique and transformative concepts and ideas, and writing each sentence and paragraph in such a simple, consolidated, and powerful way, where every sentence rings with immeasurable guidance, truth and wisdom. I have read many books on psychology, consiousness, spirituality, health and so on. It is very difficult to describe the book in one comment. Shakti teaches us how to become more balanced, integrated and powerful. She ultimately teaches the reader how to go within, explore yourself, get in touch with your wisdom, intuition, inner guidance. wholeness and then create a meaningful, authentic, creative life which is true to you. and so much more. the book flows from one topic to the next in just the right sequence. I highly recommend this book.

I loved this! Bought it after a friend suggested. Was going through a very hard time in my life- used it as a daily meditation and journaled. Actually have goons through it 3 times. Helped me to refocus, rebuild and restore the center of who I am. Easy read, print is nice size. Short chapters to use as a daily meditation :)

Really enjoyed how this book explored intuition, tying it to the everyday aspects and dimensions of life. Especially enjoyed the chapter on relationships and money.

I was introduced to thi sbook in 1986 and then took her classes in the 80's at Soho. I find this book is fabulous for those who want to become more evolved and accept life and learn how to become more gracious in all turns of life. I have them in reserve to hand out. I have so many people who are thankful to have read this book. *********** 10 stars

I read this book many, many years ago. Loaned out my copy and it wasn’t returned so I bought this copy. Shatki was certainly a leader in enlightenment.
