I tried Sweets Indeed's more typical sprinkles for holiday baking 2 months ago, really liked their products, and decided to test edible glitter next. The Rose Gold Punch cocktail from In Session calls for basically this exact product, but what better way to test it almost by itself than via a cookie garnish? So I saved it for these spiced almond cookies made for Lunar New Year. Absolutely gorgeous. No taste or texture, just kind of "there." I have one little critique about the packaging. There isn't any sifter cap to moderate the pour of the glitter, so you have to punch a little hole in the seal and tap the side. If you want a better solution, you'll have to experiment on your own. I wish the company had that figured out before the launch.

So easy to use, it is fun to have the sparkle, the quality was good.

Small container but goes far if you know how to use it.

This is a pretty product which we used sparingly. It is tasteless so it can be applied to anything. You may find a little glitter stuck to fingers and lips and will need to rinse.

It was our turn to make the King Cake for our family celebration of Epiphany. I have made the traditional King Cake, but I wanted to do something different this year. I made a bunt cake and drizzled a white chocolate pour frosting on top. Then, I added the three colors of gold, green, and purple in sections on top with sparkling sugar in between each section. I topped it off with three small crowns. The three colors were the edible glitter. It was better than just glitter. The colors had a beautiful sheen to them. This glitter is very powdery. I do so wish I had thought to take a photo of the cake so everyone could see how fancy this looked. The whole family thought the cake was beautiful. My next colors will be in the reds. Just think how pretty on sugar cookies! I highly recommend.

I have to submt a totally new positive review. I created my original recipe and only used one half, if that, of sprinkles. I was wrong about the amount, it was perfect.
