Good quality bike. It seems to be well made and works exactly as stated. I have only ridden it a few times for short distances, so I don't know about battery life yet or long term reliability, but I will update if any problems arise. I had a question and a slight problem with my order, I got a standard seat post instead of the suspension seat post as pictured, but the seller was fast to respond and took care of the issue quickly and professionally. The bike came with descent instructions and required very little if any assembly. I am happy with my purchase and would buy from this company and seller again.

I bought 4 ebikes 2 of this brand and 2 more expensive bikes. I wish I bought 4 of these! They come assembled and very well packed. They have great range and speed for the price. The charge connector is a solid 3 prong XLR connector vs the other bikes flimsy connector. It has 5 electronic speeds vs 3 on the other ebikes. Everything works unlike the breaks on the other brand. Oh and these have rear lights unlike the other brand. Yes I'm salty over spending 300 more on other bikes that don't measure up to these. Good news is if your looking at these go for it! Good value for the $$

The quality of this bike is mediocre: The derailleur was skipping and the back brake was rubbing making a constant "skweeek" noise. It took us some time to realize that the chain came with a bent/stiff link; we also had to adjust the brake. Fortunately we know how to work on bikes.Also the manual has errors and to turn on lights you need to use the top arrow (the bottom is the walk mode).Finally, I do not find the riding smooth at all: When starting, it's so powerful that you almost do a wheely! When you pedal then stop pedaling and use the throttle instead, it seems like the throttle does not work.For a few 100's more I should really have bought the Rad bike...

Just what I needed! Awesome bicycle!

The bike arrived with 2 gouges in paint one slightly dented I contacted seller they said they couldn't provide any matching touch up paint. The bike pedaled and shifted good but upon stopping the front brakes had a bad vibration I purchased this bike for my wife but do to safety concerns I'm not gonna let her ride it, this bike is better for a mechanic because everytime she arrived home the brakes weren't working at all on front and had to be readjusted now the front pads are gone and they are giving me a hard time I've sent 8 emails and only got the run around save your money for a better model that's my advice all this for 1300 bucks not a happy customer!

I was hesitant to order my Rattan ebike since I wasn't familiar with the company name but after researching and looking at ebikes for months I finally just went for it and boy am I glad I did. It's loaded with great features. The quality of the build is top notch. Very rugged and well made. It was 99% put together already. It was well packed, shipped quickly (free shipping) and arrived on time. I was up and running in about an hour since I charged it a little before I took a quick spin. The next day I took it for a long ride and it rides so comfortably and it's amazing fun. I'm like a kid again (and that's not easy to do at 68) :) I highly recommend the Rattan ebikes. Really, it's the best purchase I've made in years. I can ride for hours with pedal assist and get a great workout and still not be tired and get fresh air and see new places. There's no downside to owning and enjoying this bike.

The fundamentals of this bike are great but the accessories and manual aren't. The battery lasts much longer than I need for my little 3-5 mile trips. It is very powerful and feels more like a scooter or moped than a bike. I'm 120 lbs and 5'2" and it zooms even up hills even with sizeable cargo. It's a little too much at first but the power assist is adjustable. I know it says 5'4" and up but so do all the adult bikes. I thought if the seat is adjustable I could make it work. Well, the seat doesn't go down all the way. This makes it so my feet don't reach the ground except by tip toes but I'm used to that. I wish the seat would got down all the way then it would be perfect.The manual that it comes with is not very good and it is not clear on how to turn on the headlamp. Or maybe it's just not working because I can't seem to turn it on according to the manual. Also, the control panel is not waterproof which can be a problem if it starts raining while you're out. The really annoying thing is the kick stand. Way too small if you have any cargo it falls right over. I actually love this bike and I still think it's worth it even if I have to change a few of the accessories it came with because it is so powerful and a joy to ride.
