Great sound. Really much better than expected. Was easy to install, did not have to move the bridge or loosen the strings of the upright bass.

So easy to install and sounds great on my Palatino upright electric bass!
I'm using this on my Palatino upright electric bass because the stock electronics are just so noisy. This was extremely easy to install. I used calipers to measure the existing gap under the bridge adjuster, and then after I added this pickup, I turned the adjuster until the gap matched the previously measured distance. Sounds great to me and no noise!

Easily the best pickup out there....
I've used quite a few pickups, but this is the one I'm staying with. I've been using it for over ten years. It's got a great, transparent sound, and it's practically indestructible. I can't say enough about this great tool.
