I love these towels! They also make wonderful gifts. I have ordered about 5 packs for me and give them as thank you gifts. I visited Turkey and fell in love with the style, colors, and designs. This size works well in the kitchen as well as near the bathroom sinks. My friends are always delighted to receive a pack. These are very absorbent and wash and dry well.

These look great in my kitchen, but I think they’re too long for a hand towel in the bathroom. They also get softer with every wash, & they look so stylish.

These towels are beautiful and look lovely hanging in the kitchen. As far as function, they are not as absorbent as terry towels or cotton flour sack towels (I can dry my hands, but wiping water from a dish or the counter takes more effort to get the water up), however they do seem to be increasing in absorbency a little with each wash. Out of the package they were fairly stiff had a VERY strong perfume odor (not an unpleasant scent but super strong) - it even lasted through the first wash, but after the second wash it is gone. I did soak the towels in cool water overnight first thing and allowed them to air dry (as is recommended for Peshtemal towels in general), then put them through the washer and dryer. They've now been washed/dried twice - they are holding up well, generally keeping their shape, the tassels still look good, and the softness/absorbency is slightly better (and hopefully will continue to improve with each wash). The size is NOT at all as listed - this is fine for me because they are just the right size for a dish towel, but if someone is expecting 45x20 inch towels, that is definitely not the size of mine, even before washing. They actually measure 36" long by 18" wide (see my photos with a ruler) now. Before washing they were slightly larger, but not by much (maybe 19" wide but definitely not 45" long). Overall I like them, especially for the price, but they aren't quite 5 stars for function - if they continue to increase in absorbency over time, I would add that 5th star.

First off - the reviewers who write that these towels aren't absorbent, clearly have never been taught that you DO NOT USE FABRIC SOFTENER OR DRYER SHEETS ON ANY TOWELS!!!! Those products deposit a wax like substance onto the fabric that will prevent the cotton from being as absorbent as it should be. May sound weird, but grandma was right about this one. Towels don't get static-y, so they don't need dryer sheets.Back to the review of these towels - I so wish Amazon hadn't taken away the option to add a photo, because truly, these are absolutely beautiful hand made towels. These were by far the best deal I could find on Amazon and they were shipped from Turkey and arrived within days.Turkish towels are a luxury, truly, and once you use them, you'll want to replace all your other towels and reclaim way more than half the space in your linen closet. They are very thin but more absorbent than any fluffy towel that often just pushes the water around before actually absorbing it. They are handmade, which I love, that you can see that they weren't made in mass by a machine. I love that each is very slightly different that way. They washed up nicely, but I let mine dry in the sun, not in the dryer, and it took just a few minutes for them to be totally dry. These are in my guest bathroom and I wanted them to be crisp and wrinkle free.I am ordering another set for my master bath and kitchen!

If I would have seen these in a store I would have pass by them. They are an odd size but I like the pattern and they are for decoration anyway so I am keeping them and hanging on a hook for towels in my quest bathroom. The quality appears adequate

Found these through the LTK app. They are the perfect texture for a hand towel and make a great display in our bathroom. I bought the black to accent our black matte fixtures. They are longer than some hand towels. Love the fringe. Wash easily and get softer each time.

Just think they are perfect for kitchen towels or hair towels or bathroom , nice designs and wash and dry nice . A little costly but should myself once on awhile as they do last a long time .

Used as hand towels in the kitchen. Look good out on the counter. Functional as well as they are absorbent.
