Great light and a vast improvement over the old kerosene camp light!
Directions are great, the light functions and very bright and you can chose brightness levels and you can remove the cover and will find a hanger clip on the bottom of the light so you can hang this upside down for a very bright lighting area. Will work outside on a camping table as well as inside the camper. We have not used it camping yet as it is winter and snow in Montana. We run on mostly solar for the RV so look forward to having this rechargeable and power bank that can be used to charge our cell phone if need be. Our camper is wired to charge many items and this lantern is one we can plug into our camper or our spare battery we use to charge up many items. This spring this will get the full workout. Right now it is in the house to have something for light if we loose power. Nice compact size as well and heavy construction.

Amazing light, you will not be disappointed
I have tried many rechargeable lanterns before buying this one. All the others were not worth their claim for higher than 1000 lumens for a higher a price. I tried a 2500 lumen, 1800 lumen and a 1500 lumen lantern, all that cost way more than this and returned them all. I didn't expect much out of this lantern when I saw the size of it, but holy crap this thing is bright. The first setting I was like good lord that's bright. The second setting was a yellow light, I guess it's softer for your eyes, but the third setting is both lights and I swear it, but don't look at the lens. It's super bright. There is a strobe light that is for emergencies but either the first or third setting will be my go to. Pros: 1. Super bright and way cheaper than other lanterns that claim to have higher lumens. 2. Really light weight and small size. 3. Handle on the top and bottom makes it easier to hang on different objects. 4. Feels well built Cons: 1. It charges using a Micro USB cable. I really wished it used a type C instead. 2. Charging seems to take a long time. 3. No battery indicator. I really wish there was a way to tell how much battery is remaining. 4. Battery life is shorter than other lanterns I tried, but I was using this lantern at max brightness. Adjust the dimmer on the light settings and you will have plenty of battery left for a weekend camping trip. Conclusion: If you want a amazing camping lantern that is more than plenty bright, I highly recommend this. It's small size, long lasting battery if you dim the light down will be plenty for your camping trips. You are able to use it as a battery pack to charge your other devices, but let's face it, you go camping to get away. In a emergency that is a option at the cost of lowering the amount of time you have in a light.

Camp, emergency light with SOS flash
3 light settings. Bright and light weight. There is a handle so can use as a lantern. Micro USB charged (so oldee type). I bought 3 and that makes a 10x10 room lit up equivalent to 120 lumens setting. Down side: Slow to charge to max. I don't know how long it would last at full bright settings, I use at the lowest. At the lowest it was still good good 4 hours.

6 Hours of Run Time at Max Lumens
This review is for Lepro LE Lighting EVER 1000LM LED Camping Rechargeable Lantern, 4400mAh Power Bank, with 4 Light Modes & IP44 Waterproof rating CAVEAT OF THIS REVIEW • I’ve had this lamp only for 8 days, so I cannot comment on its longevity or for how long it will store/hold a full charge while in storage (not being used). The manual states that if the lamp is not in use, it should be charged at least once every 3 months. So based on this information, in theory, it “could” store a full charge for 3 months. I have tested the power storage of this lamp for 5 days (I have fully charged the lamp, let it sit not plugged into electricity for 5 days and then turned it on at Max light output, which it provided for 6 hours). • The primary purpose of this lantern for our household is to provide emergency lighting in the house when power is out. It will NOT be used for camping and as such, external environmental conditions, inclusive of water proof testing, will not play a role in our case. GENERAL INFO • Lepro LE 1000 Lumens Rechargeable Lantern does not provide for usage of regular replaceable batteries. It can be used ONLY as a Rechargeable lantern utilizing internally installed and normally (unless you are a DIY person) not replaceable rechargeable battery. • The lamp is pretty small in size (3.74 x 3.46 x 7.24 inches ) PROS • Lepro LE Rechargeable Lantern, once fully charged, is very bright on Max Lumens setting – therefore it is a usable lamp that can easily light-up a 12x12 room • There are 4 different light settings, inclusive of 3000K color temperature, which is a very warm color. This is a great option to have, as 6000K is a very cool (temperature) light. However, be aware that 3000K will not be at all as bright as 6000K. • Once fully charged, Lepro LE Rechargeable Lantern will provide light at Maximum Lumen output for 6 full hours. Over the course of 6 hours the output will dim slightly, but it is still fully usable/functional for the entire 6 hours. While this might not seem like a lot of hours, compared to most of the similar products/lights being offered by various other companies, this is actually a lot, as most of the advertised numbers by other manufacturers are completely false and are a marketing gimmick. • The lamp light can be steplessly dimmed in each of 3 lighting modes (it cannot be dimmed in the flashing light mode). This is an excellent option, as the light at Max setting can actually be too bright based on viewing circumstances/requirements. In addition, if the light output is dimmed, the hours of available light will be extended (I have not tested for how long, as MAX light output was my primary concern). • Lepro LE Rechargeable Lantern can be fully used if plugged in/while being charged. So it can function as a “regular” lamp, not just as an emergency lamp. • The lamp diffuser is detachable and thus provides for a different type of lighting – a more direct/narrow beam of light and can be essentially used as a flashlight (vs a lantern). • In addition to the handle, the lantern has an integrated hook/hanger on the bottom – so there are two ways of hanging the lamp. • The lamp is very light, made of fairly durable plastic (so no glass to break) and has soft rubberized areas to protect the lamp and not let it slide on a surface. • Lepro LE Rechargeable Lantern can be used as a Power Bank to charge your other portable devices (e.g. phone, tablet, etc.). This is provided via a USB-A port. • Micro USB to USB-A cable is provided to be used for charging this lamp (the charger block itself is NOT provided). • Lepro LE Rechargeable Lantern has a charging LED that lights up Red while being charged and Green when charging is complete. CONS • It takes a full 8 hrs (and possibly a bit more) to fully charge the lamp from empty. So from the efficiency perspective, it is very poor – 8 hrs to charge and 6 hours to discharge (at Max Light Output). • You cannot use a fast charger for this lamp – it will not work (or worse, damage the battery), so you are stuck with slow charging. • The lamp does not have a USB-C connector. Most of the current modern portable devices use USB-C. So this lamp is stuck with old technology from the charging perspective. • I tested using this lamp (the lamp was fully charged before the test) as a Power Bank by charging my iPhone 15 Pro from 30% to 90%. It took 3-4 hours to complete this charge (the phone was being slow-charged, since the lamp is using USB-A, rated at 5V, 1A) and basically the lamp was completely drained. And of course I had to have a USB-A to USB-C cable. It took almost the entire 8 hours to fully recharge the lamp. So using this lamp in the emergency as a source of light AND a power bank is highly questionable, as one or the other (light emission or charging your device) is going to suffer. • Using Lepro LE Rechargeable Lantern at Max lumens output, after about 6 hrs, it abruptly shuts down – it does not continuously dim as it loses the charge, it just shuts down. IMPROVEMENT SUGGESTIONS FOR THE MANUFACTURER • Increase efficiency of the lamp by redesigning for fast charging capability (e.g. fully charge in 30 min to 1 hr) • Change ports from Micro USB & USB-A to USB-C • Increase rechargeable battery capacity – at least double it ( or a TRUE 10,000 mAH) – for proper lamp usage as a Power Bank

Extremely bright and versatile lantern
SKU: 3300008 Wattage: 10W Battery: 3.7V 18650 2200 mAh (x2) Water resistance rating: IP44 Power Bank: 4400 mAh - Output 5V 1A * Purchased on 5/15/2019 * Reviewed edited on 5/18/2019 - See the bottom of the review for the updated information First I would like to point out that this is the rechargeable version of this lantern. It runs on two 18650 batteries. It also comes with a USB charging cable, you will need to supply your own USB charging adapter. Also this version does not have the blinking green indicator light which you couldn’t turn off with the earlier versions of the 500 lumen lantern. That feature was later removed by the manufacture due to customer complaints. That was a feature to help you find the lantern in the dark. The reviews here look like they are for the older 500 lumen version which was run on 3 “D” size batteries. It looks like I am the first person to review the new upgraded 1000 lumen rechargeable version. This upgraded version of the lantern is great! This is the best lantern that I have had yet both bulb type and LED type. It is extremely bright!! The lens can be unscrewed and removed which will make the light even brighter. The 6000K mode is very white. 3000K mode is similar to a household soft white light bulb. 6000K+3000K mode is a combination of the two modes. The fourth mode is a flashing mode which uses the 6000K+3000K mode. The dimming feature is an excellent feature to have. This allows you to dim down the light if it is too bright for what you need. The dimming feature works in three modes: 6000K, 3000K, and 6000K+3000K combo. This lantern does not support “fast charging” which would have been nice to have. The manual says to charge at 5V/1A. It takes about 8 hours to fully charge the batteries. Runtime is said to be 12 hours on 3000K mode, 8 hours on 6000K mode, and 6.5 hours on 6000K+3000K mode. I assume that these are all on the highest settings so running them dimmer will increase the run times. * My lantern was shipped in a bubble wrap. The lantern was on when I opened the box and it was warm but not hot. Somewhere in shipping the package got pressed down and turned on the lantern. The battery still had a good amount of power in it and it charged up fully. * Update * I had the lantern charging and was going though the light modes, the lantern shut off and would not come back on again. I tried disconnecting the charging cable and waiting for a while and then tried to turn the light on, it would not turn on. I also tried charging it for a while, the charging light on the lantern would not come on. I talked to amazon tech support on the phone and they had me return the lantern for an exchange as I really like the lantern and didn't want to get a refund. I also talked to the lantern manufacture and they said that the lantern can be used while it is charging, it will just take longer to charge. They also said not to use the lantern as a power bank and charge the battery at the same time.

Exceptional lasting power with a good amount of light
We had a 36hr power outage here in the NW. After that I was looking for an electric camp lantern. Did my usual online search for info and opinions. Came across one from a mother in New Orleans who said they last a long time on a single charge. So I bought one. Looked a little small when it arrived but seemed to provide good light. Fast- forward a month and a half and we had another power outage. Used this light on the warm white setting for 3hrs in the morning and 5hrs that night until power was restored. Provides plenty of light on that low setting. Bought a second one during this outage because we found that when it is time to use a windowless bathroom it would be nice to keep a light in the main room for others. When both are on in the same room it lessens the dark shadows a single light will cast.

Lights up my world
Very nice camp light, very bright lights up the whole campsite. Great to have on hand for power outages, travel and recreational use. It’s light weight, durable and rechargeable, so much easier to deal with. I love it.

Very bright
You can not literally look at it , it is so bright. For a medium room is more than enough in case of emergency.

An Excellent Light Source
I wanted a well built, quality, very bright light source to use during the occasional power failures that occur in my area. After looking at various options & reading the reviews I decided to go for this particular one (it had excellent reviews) and I have not been disappointed. It does an excellent job in providing a very bright light, which will allow me to do things like continue cooking if the power goes out, I haven't tested to see how long the battery lasts on the various settings, but others have & based on that those results this lamp serves my purpose & being rechargeable it avoids having to have a supply of batteries sitting around for months at a time without being used.
