Does this cup leak？

No. To ensure it doesn’t leak , switch the water dispenser button to “locked” and ensure that you have a tight seal on the mouth of the bottle. There’s a round silicone seal that helps make sure there’s no water leakage.

Sorry I do not know, but mine is holding up very well and when I have my arms full I've dropped it. Its still going no dents or cracks. Pup knows what it is and now I only bring a small offering (less to carry) for her walk which is a couple miles or so.

How much give is there in the button? The button feels very stiff and hardly depresses. I can't seem to get water out. Is this a user error?

You move the button slightly to the side to unlock it. and then press down with the bottle slightly tilted down and water flows out
