Do these work well for dining room chairs on a braided rug?

I used them on a tile floor and they work well. I do not know how they will wear as I have only had them in use for a few weeks. My experience with braided rugs is that chair legs tend to put stress on the rug at the seam of the braid and cause the threads to pull regardless of the chair glides. Some would be better than none.

Are the screws stainless steel?

They looked like standard screws dont know what they r made of

What is the height on the 1 1/4" wide glides?, total? 1/2 " or a bit larger?

My estimate is ~ 1/4" to 3/8" maximum.
