Exactly what you expect
This seems like good filter floss that will do the job assigned to it. It was easy to cut to size and I have enough left over for future tanks. I tend to reuse filter media as much as I can so this will last me a long time. It's best to just gently rinse it out in your dirty tank water while you're cleaning and put then it back. This preserves all the beneficial, nitrifying bacteria colonies that are so important for keeping stable water parameters. Companies want you to regularly throw out and replace filter media, cartridges, etc, so they can keep selling them to you but this is actually harmful to your tank. I will only replace it if it gets so worn and tattered that I can no longer rinse it out or it's no longer providing filtration. TLDR: It's good filter floss and I would definitely buy more if/when needed.

Durable. Holds up well to multiple wash cycles. Does good job filtering and is a good value.
I've ordered this filter media in that past and have used it in both my Marineland and Aquaclear HOB units for at least 3 years. What I like about this particular media is that is is much more economical to use vs. drop in filter pad/carbon/plastic strainer type filter pads. State the obvious right? But THIS particular filter pad stands up to multiple wash and wring out cycles better by far than other filter pad materials I've tried. It does not seem to get damaged easily and lose its shape and fluff as quick as other types pads I've used. How do I use this? I take the old standard plastic filter housings that have one side filter material, carbon, then plastic, and cut off the old filter pad. Then, I'll take two of those plastic parts that are left over, and place one of these bonded filter pads in between, and slot that filter sandwich down into my HOB filter. Works extremely well with a gravel media basket in a stack. Or, I'll simply cut to fit the pad and put several into the Aquaclear HOB filter stack (if you have one you will know what I mean). Do I recommend this particular brand? Yes. No questions asked. Its just as economical on a square inch basis as any other pad you will find, does an excellent job filtering your water, and lasts surprisingly longer for reuse.

Quality filter media or get creative & use it for maintaining parameters, changing filter output
great for many filters. good for catching dirt, good for growing good bacteria. Quality product, in use in my tank for months now--tank and filter safe. There's plenty in the package so it will last a long time.

Great for hang on the backs.
This is very easy to cut and place. Itโs about an inch thick, perfect size for me to put in my hang-on-the-back filters. I just take it out and squeeze it clean in the sink like a sponge filter.

Great price for a very good product
I was tired of buying small premade filter pads so I bought this large roll and cut my own. Saves a lot of money. And it works great

Awesome
Perfect price, flexible, thick, and easy to cut. Plus, it's non-shredding, meaning there's no stray or loose fibers. I use it on my hob filters and instead of foam for my sponge filters. (I wrap it around and rubber band it.) I like that it's lightly colored, as opposed to the black sponge filters, so you can visually see how well the filter works and when it's time to clean it.

Cat fountain filters for dayzzzzz!
When I was buying my water fountain for my cats, I saw in the comments that someone else recommended this product to cut to size for very effective water filters that save a ton of money compared to buying filters. Well, I jumped on that and ordered it because filters are so expensive and theyโre usually such a rip off. For the cat fountain, itโs really just to keep cat hair and impurities from being sucked back into the water pump, so carbon isnโt necessary. The filters that came with the pump were terrible and I could see that they have two tiny pieces of this kind of stuff inside, showing tha the actual filtering part of the filter was minuscule. I cut this pad into 51 filters for my cat fountain, as you can see in the photo, and they are great. This entire pad cost me $15.49 and if I had bought the filters that are made for it, it would cost me $85. !!!!!! ๐ฎ It was super easy to cut them with large scissors. Itโs just woven plastic so itโs very easy to cut through and I didnโt have to do a cardboard template or anything. I just held the fabric up to the filter container on the lid of the fountain and cut it to match. Super easy, super fast, super cheap, super good, super duper, super trooper. I rarely write reviews, but this is such a great tip that a review gave to me and saves me money, so I wanted to give that to others as well. โ๐ป

BIG Money Saver!
Absolutely must buy for pet parents who spend / waste lots of money on some questionable (unsafe) carbon filters for water fountains made in china! Wash their water fountains once every 3 days (or less even better!), cut these to fit for your fountain and use them to keep their water crystal clean - and SAVE your pets' lives and your wallets.
