I purchased this as a gag gift for my nephew. He’s recently gotten into the hobby and it got a good laugh when he opened it. It was then passed around for everyone to try.I can’t hold it like he can, but it’s a good sized mug and seems like it’s good quality.The box it shipped in was small and chewed up but no damage to the mug.Best part is since there’s no handle it takes up less space hah!

The crimp grip is not too hard, but it is harder with the left hand due to it being asymmetrical. I'm not a climber so I assume it's easier for an experienced climber! I train my grip and can close a CoC #2 gripper.Freaking awesome gift to anyone slightly interested. I highly recommend.

I really love the look of this mug! I loved it so much I gifted one to a climber friend as well! You can’t use hot liquid in it, and mine starting staining a little after a couple uses, so it’s not the most pristine quality, especially for the price! But it is fun and a cute gift for your climbing buddies!

This mug is not as pictured. The grip provided is too slick and too shallow. I frankly do not believe users who have written here that they find it easy to hold, or that it is useful either as a coffee mug or a practice grip. Perhaps the original mould provided a substantial grip, but after a porcelain slip was added, the grip is too shallow even for a fingertip.

My sisters favorite hobby is to rock climb. This was the perfect gift for her! Easy to hold and good quality. Would definitely recommend!
