Are the Ethernet cable / plug , optional power supply plug and the reset switch waterproof or do they need to be boxed.

I would suggest you box the junction. Even using the supplied kit I’ve now burned out two of the RJ45 sockets on these cameras after heavy rain. Cutting off and replacing the RJ45 socket is very difficult due to the extremely thin and delicate wires used. I’m about to purchase the Reolink junction box to try to avoid this happening again.

Will reolink help with any config issues during setup with a nvr for example? if so is support available via phone in the uk or via chat? tic tok
