Excellent quality and size
I wanted to get away from the plastic containers and go with glass. The trade-off is glass containers will be heavier. But we’re good with that. Pros: * Seals tight. I filled them all up with water and turn them upside down and none of them leaked. * Durable. While we wash the glass in the dishwasher, we still choose to wash the tops by hand even though they say they are dishwasher safe. Unlike some brands, these tops appear very durable. Looks like this set will last for many years. * Interchangeable tops. Several of the sizes use the same tops. * Stackable. This style stacks better than any that we’ve had before. I really like the rectangle sizes. They Stack in the cabinets or refrigerator more efficiently than our old round ones. They also fit perfectly in our lunch box for work. * Sizes. Everyone’s needs are different but these particular sizes meet our needs perfectly. No itty-bitty containers. Perfect sizes for leftovers and lunches. Cons: * Price. I did not go looking for other options to see if this set was significantly cheaper elsewhere. But they do appear a bit pricey. * My issue was trying to find the sizes of the containers that are included in this nine piece set (9 containers with 9 tops). So below is what we received: 1 (8 cup) @ 11-1/2” x 7-1/2” x 2-3/4” tall 1 (4.7 cup) @ 8” x 5-1/4” x 3-1/2” tall 2 (3.2 cups) @ 8” x 5-14” x 2-1/2” tall 2 (2 cups) @ 8” x 5-14” x 2” tall 3 (1.3 cups) @ 5-3/4” x 3-3/4” x 2-3/4” tall After using this set for a few more months, we will see what sizes we use most and supplement it with more of the same brand of containers. We like doing our food prep over the weekends and this style is perfect for our needs. They do keep our food fresher for a longer period of time due to the tight seal. Plus we like not having our food in plastic due to all the health concerns (especially when we warm up our food in the microwave). Hope this helps you.

High quality containers, maybe a bit overpriced right now.
These are really nice food storage containers. At the time of this review, they are priced at around 38$ for the four. When I got them, they were on sale for closer to 30$. I think 30$ is close to the limit of what I would be willing to pay for these, but I'm a bit more cost averse than some. With that high price tag though comes a quality product. You get two of each size here. The smaller ones are a nice one portion size, but sometimes I do feel like they could be a bit taller. The large ones are also a nice bigger size, can't complain. The glass bottoms are durable and super easy to clean, I usually just put them in the dishwasher. I saw some reviews say that putting the plastic tops in the dishwasher caused the seal to get messed up, so I have hand washed mine and they still seal really well. They are really quick to hand wash so it's not too much of a hassle. The lids go on by pushing down into the container a little bit which is interesting. Then there are the two clamps on either side. This is kind of a nice mechanism and its satisfying to push the lids on for me. This mechanism works to create the stackability of the containers. When full, they stack nicely on each other. When empty the glass bottoms stack very nicely into each other, and they store well. The lids, when separate, are a bit bulky with the clamp parts up which does take up a bit of space. One of my only complaints is that at times the tops are so sealed on that they are hard to get off. Opening the container can be a challenge so consider that if you have strain averse fingers/hands. Overall, this is a very high-quality product. When I moved out on my own after college this past year, I really wanted some quality glass food storage containers. Since then, I have bought these, and I have bought a set of glass Pyrex containers from Costco. I like both a lot, but I like these better. However, these are almost double the price for probably less than half the container space, so that gives you something to reference. Pros: - Quality glass bottoms - Great seal - Stack nicely - Easy to clean Cons: - Hand wash lids - Sometimes hard to open when sealed - Lids take up space in storage - Expensive Final Note: I expect these to last me a long time and I really like the product. They are very expensive and there are certainly cheaper alternatives that are more cost efficient, but these are better quality in my opinion.

Versatile, high quality containers
Great value considering the versatility and quality. Crystal clear lid and base. Dishwasher, and microwave safe (lid for microwave reheat only, open flaps for venting). Also oven safe (base only, up to 450 F). Air and watertight lid seal, even upside-down; great for dry storage and easy leftover storage. The plastic ones are great which I also have, but I get glass for anything red or brown for the assurance that it won't stain, and these also double as bakeware. If seal is too hard to open, microwave it if contents are microwavable. Or, open both flaps and give it "CPR" a few times, then pull with slow, but constant tension until loose.

I’ll never go back to plastic!!
The Rubbermaid Brilliance Glass Food Storage containers are excellent. The glass is thick, sturdy, and high quality, and the clear design makes it easy to see what’s inside. The lids seal tightly and are truly leakproof—no spills or messes, even with soups or sauces.

Almost perfect.
Very Good product. I own 32 of them now. They seal tightly, stack neatly in the freezer, & clean easily. CONS: the gasket does not appear to be removable/replaceable. All my boxes said, “Assembled in the USA with components from Mexico, UAE, and USA[.]”

Great product overall. Warranty process could be easier.
Edit: Someone from customer service reached out to me and sent a replacement for the container with the broken lid piece. Their customer service is great but the warranty replacement could be improved. I do love these products and am happy to have the food stored in glass rather than plastic. This was my original review and the issue I had with warranty replacement: I got a set of these to replace the plastic set I had and regret the decision. The reason being that one of the lids was broken and when trying to reach out to get assistance with it, the process was literally insane. It was like they literally made the process so difficult that I would give up which I did. here is the process they required, step by step: first they wanted like 6 photos, a group photo of the set purchased as well as a picture of the entire top of the lid in question. A picture showing where that latch attaches, packaging, and UPC bar code are needed as well. After that they wanted me to include a dated slip of paper in the picture with the broken item ane copy of the full invoice which I had already sent. They also told me it probably wasn't broken when the initial picture I sent showed that it clearly was. Rather than fight with them or waste anymore time on the endeavor I chose to just not deal with them anymore. Companies can choose to be helpful or difficult. But when a company that had almost 8 billion dollars in revenue last year acts like this, I can choose to do business elsewhere. I'm fed up with corporations acting like we owe them something. We are the customers. All of this for a broken lid. Sad Rubbermaid, just sad.

Great set and since it is RUBBERMAID Brilliance - Great Value
Revising this review!! Originally I thought my set was missing a lid! I have since realized that it just got separated from the rest somehow. This set is sturdy, and practical. I love the way the lids seal and that the containers are oven safe (not the lids though). I will get a lot of use from this!

These Glass Containers Are Fabulous!
These were received as a self-gift, for our home use. We LOVE our friends, BUT grew tired of our friends returning our Tupperware STAINED. This happens every time when the gift contains tomatoes, spaghetti sauce, or other “stainable” food products. (We’re of Italian heritage.) We would always present the food gift saying, “Please, remember to re-heat this [food] in a separate container.” I’d venture that 80% of our friends took the “easy way out”, cooking the food in our plastic containers! When the plastic containers were returned, they were permanently stained and I tossed them! UGH! These glass storage containers with tight fitting snap-on lids, fit our frozen foods MUCH nicer, and the food lays flat (like chicken cacciatore). These containers are easily stackable, the glass is thick enough to be durable from freezer to oven, the snap-on lids keep air out, and the containers are refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave + oven SAFE! I can verify that the seal is tight! I dropped a a closed container of hot spaghetti sauce on it’s side and there was NO leakage! The clear glass provides a clear view the contents, even while frozen. Out of habit, we remove the plastic lids if the glass containers go directly into the microwave or oven for heating the food. For the microwave, we place a “microwave cover” on top. I don’t’t know if the plastic lids are microwave safe. (We’ve used a microwave cover for years, that keeps our microwave clean!) My family member uses these containers for carrying food to work, as well. He now prepares, packs + refrigerates several days worth of lunches in these glass containers. He’s commented that the food stays as fresh in the glass containers, as the food was on day 1! He previously was buying his lunches on a daily basis. These containers have saved a us a bundle of $! In fact, we’ve been SO HAPPY with this purchase of GLASS storage containers, that we were gifted the plastic storage containers (by another family member), of the identical brand, in various sizes*. To my shock, warm/hot spaghetti sauce has been poured multiple times into the plastic containers and the plastic containers DIDN’T stain, either! These are QUALITY products, by a QUALITY brand. I urge you to buy these. You’ll be 100% happy with your purchase! * As a Senior, my hands shake, my grip loosens + I drop a LOT of items: glasses, plates, silverware. etc. I can lift and carry with 1 hand only, as I must hold on to the counter, furniture, railings, etc., when I walk, due to neck and spine issues.
