It has a nice berry flavor - like a blend of berries. My boys love the taste - not chalky at all.

I give it to my kids in AM and i notice a difference in a couple hours

Whats the difference between the blue and the orange on the labels? My son took the blue ones no problem, but wont eat the orange!

The blue is for younger children and the orange is extra-strength, for ages 6-12, and more robust. There is a slight difference in ingredients which might change the taste profile. If your son is older than six, you might go ahead and use the younger version and just adjust the dosage upward a bit.
