Quality, affordable Power Supply
My first impression upon receiving the Aresgame AGV650 was that the packaging looked good. I've purchased a lot of computer parts and power supplies over the years, and I've had a lot of poorly packaged items arrive. Opening the shipping box and finding a nice, clean looking product box was a nice start. Opening it up, I found that the packaging inside was just as good. I should have taken more pictures! Everything was well organized, separate bags for all the smaller pieces, documentation, information on contacting the manufacturer, etc. Sidenote: I reached out to support with a question and received an extremely fast reply, so that's a great sign with regards to the product as well. Perhaps my favorite little item was the included "Quick Inspection Tool", and warning/suggestion that the purchaser use the tool before plugging the power supply into their computer. I have tested a lot of power supplies over the years, often by using a wire or the 'paper clip method' to jumper the positions together on the ATX plug. Having a handy little pre-made jumper tool to do the test is great. Perhaps these are common these days, but I didn't have one, so it was immediately added to my tool box. Thank you Aresgame! The power supply itself looks good. Simple, well made, didn't feel flimsy or cheap. I tested it before plugging it in, and everything looked great. I hooked it up, and it's been working very well. No issues so far, and it's quiet. I installed it in my gaming rig, and it's done a great job handling everything so far. All in all, a great product at a reasonable price. If I have any issues down the road, I'll revisit this review, but all signs point to this being a great purchase. I recommend everyone check out Aresgame products.

IMPRESSIVE BUILD QUALITY, EXCELLENT VALUE, VERY QUIET -
Well I was a bit concerned as im not familiar with this new brand beyond what reviews and specs ive read, but between reviews and YT videos I could not shake the feeling this company is making a solid effort at selling a good quality product for a fair price. To be fair its only been running a short time, but the fan is quiet and using a flashlight to look inside it looks like very good build quality and not sloppily assembled, overall im very impressed inside and out. For what youre getting its a bargain especially since some of the name brands in this price range are known to be sketchy and frankly this Aresgame looks and feels better than some of those and at a better price. If it continues to operate as it is now Ill be very impressed and tempted to buy another one just to have for any future builds. As of right now this is my favorite power supply brand, I was going to say "budget" but really nothing about it feels low budget - it feels like good quality through and through, well put together and there appears to be no coil whine so far. Obviously I cannot comment on longevity, but so far I think the Aersgame brand is an up and coming winner. --->>> 1 MONTH UPDATE: Well this PS has been running for a month now in my mcroATX case and its still showing totally stable voltages in Hardware info software, its so quiet you dont even know its in there and now my only regret is not getting the 750 watt version for its modular cables in my micro ATX case. Dont get me wrong, ive worked in factories and you can get a defective unit in any brand, I see it in major brands all the time -- but comparing major brands to this brand I dont see any higher defect rate in fact given the number sold here i'd say its defect rate is even lower than some name brands for the number of units sold and I was looking at some other known brands and seeing more than an acceptable number of defects and these were not cheap brands - in the end I kept coming back to the Aresgame brand because they simply had a lower defect rate and 4.5 - 5 star reviews. If Aresgame keeps their quality up and prices reasonable they should become a major player in a market where availability of computer parts is sometimes sporadic and quality is often not what it should be or what it once was for some brands that frankly seem overpriced and are now trading on their name and past reputation more so than their once good but now declining build quality. Keep up the good work Aresgame, dont get sloppy and greedy and mess it up.

Great Gaming Power Supply at a Great Price
I have just finished installing the Aresgame AGV650 power supply unit. At this time it is working great: Extremely quite, providing great power for my gaming unit and GPU. I am extremely please with the purchase. I received the product Saturday. Product is listed as Amazon Prime but was offered a choice of 3 day delivery or 4 day delivery. I selected 3-day but was automatically assigned 4-day delivery with no explanation. Unexpected but given the current postal situation not too bad. The box container is well constructed. The PSU was wrapped with air wrap consisting of a series of cigar sized air pockets. This provided a very stiff, snug and sturdy protective enclosure for the PSU. The attached cables were bundled with zip ties. The AC cable was secured with the normal twist tie. Everything was very snug in the box preventing any movement. Needless to say I was very surprised and pleased with the packaging. The product, cables and accessories are accurately described in the Amazon Product Description. There was a test loop included. Basically connects two connections. You connect the test loop to the motherboard connector, connect the AC cable, turn the PSU on and if the fan spins, the PSU is considered operational. For someone not experienced with installing a PSU, installation may be a little daunting. The User Manual is thin and in small print. The installation instructions are sparse and are not very description nor helpful. No detailed steps or explanation of the cables. I was a little exasperated with the cables labeled PCI-E and CPU. I couldn't get them to fit. Ultimately, I remembered the connectors on the end were not solid but split. Once I separated the cables, I was able to connect them to the proper slots. I like the fact that all of the cables except the motherboard cable are flat. It is much neater than the old red, yellow and black cables which have to be zip tied to keep them together. Over all I'm extremely happy with the purchase.

Still works great after 4+ years
I built my first computer in 2020 I do believe using this power supply and I'm still using it today with absolutely no problems. Great product I highly recommend! Just know your power requirements as this 650 bronze PSU will put out just over 500 watts continuous I think. To be exact I think it's around 525w. Of course if your system requirements are close to 500 you should probably go for a more powerful unit. Aside from that $43 for 500w actual watts is a great price and still the same price I bought it for many years ago. Just for reference I'm working with a b450 RGB motherboard with 2x M.2s and 4x8GB ram. A ryzen 5 3600 and an old G.............G..............GTX1070๐ซฃ. My system doesn't use more than 350 Watts at peak which this PSU covers quite well. Most of the recommended power levels these builders say you need when building a system is a load of hogwash. Nobody needs a thousand watt gold rated PSU for a 5070 with whatever CPU. As a matter of fact I was going to upgrade to a 9070xt along with a 5000 series CPU switch but the market flipped and the price is jumped so I didn't do it but the point being I could easily incorporate this with the PSU I have and it should work fine.

This is a pretty good power supply FOR NOW
This power supply has a 3 year warranty and comes with a tester which is neet so that you can test if it works before installing.this power supply has a decent price and usually has a coupon you can use to lower its price it has all black sleeve cables its 80+ bronze certification it has all the green lights to buy which is great i see no red flags. its a great competitor against the thermaltake 80+ white certification power supplies the agres powersupply has better certification and does not have ketchup and mustard cables which i think its worth the few extra for security now i havent used this power supply for long but it seems to handle my system quite well and i noticed it uses 25 less watts than my thermaltake white powersupply with the same parts still in place obviously i only changed the power supply i have a 2070 super with a 2700x 64gb of ram with 5 hard drives pretty goos efficiency in my opinion how do i now its using less watts i have a wall meter that mesures that watts and efficiency of the power supply. Now i have to wait and see if this power supply last cause from my experience my thermaltake power supply hasnt failed in the 5 years ive had it which is amazing im gonna have to come back to this review and update every year if it still works cause my thermaltake one hasnt failed me but i changed it cause i want to give this new company ive never heard of a try thank you for reading please dont let this review stop you form buying this power supply its supposed to encourage you but you do as you want i am not a payed reviewer i bought this with my own money and i like to make honest reviews for confused customers

Great inexpensive for upgrading older systems
Edit 2-1-24: I gave this PC to a friend as I built a new PC from the ground up for me. He uses that PC everyday and this PSU is still going strong, no issues what 4 years later? Original review: I bought this to replace an aging PSU in a 2015 Dell XPS 8700. The size (Dimensions) was a Direct replacement for the old OEM 460 watt. This came with an 8 pin and another 8 pin (4+4) eps CPU connector. My Old Dell OEM MB uses a single 4 pin, so I was able to split the 8 pin and plug in the 4 to the MB. Then this has a modern PCIe 8 pin (6+2)(2 on same line) for video cards. so if you need a 6 pin, then just split off the 2 pin to make a 6. if you need the 8 the don't do anything and plug it in. It also has plenty of sata connectors and even a few OLD 4 pin molex connectors for older connections. Though I did not nor will I use the 4 pin molex, but it is nice to know they are there if I need them. The cables are a solid black color. NO ketchup and mustard colors here! They are lengthy cables make it easy to reach different layouts. Though my MB is a Mini ATX so they are very long for me. This makes cable management difficult. But that is not the fault of the PSU but one of my oem case. As for the Fan I cannot hear it so it is very quiet. The PSU comes with a sperate switch so I do NOT have to rely on the case power button to make sure its off. This also allows me to leave it plugged in for a ground and still drain the system of power. then I can connect my anti static bracelet and not worry about static buildup while I am working on the PC. I VERY MUCH appreciated item on an inexpensive unit. The unit came with a tester which really is just to see if it turns on, thats really it. I didn't expect it at all so it was nice to have it included in the box. As for longevity I cannot speak of because I have only had it installed for a week, but so far no issues. I will update if I have any. In conclusion, I was very worried about a brand that I have never heard of but So far I am loving it. A lot of nice touches for a lower end inexpensive psu. I am very happy with my purchase. P.S. A previous reviewer said that this will NOT work in older dell computers. I do not know which Dell he was trying to put it into or how old the system was, but for my 2015 8700 XPS, it fits and works perfectly.

Works Good
FYI: its Aug 2024 and this ARESGAME Power Supply (and the mouse pad) I purchased in 2020 are still going strong so I'd say the quality is good. It works. It's a 650W PSU and I've had it for a couple of days now so all I can really tell you is: 1. received in perfect, new condition. 2. when installed, the logo shows right side up on the side that counts. 3. it works good and is not noisy. 4. I used it in a Lancool 2 case and the 8/4 pin CPU power cable would be better if it was 50 to 100 mm longer. My PSU came with a coupon for a free RGB mouse pad. I filled out the form and received the mouse pad about a week later. It plugs into a USB port for its RGB power. It lights up a strip around the outer edge and the Aresgame logo. It can change colors and brightness levels including off and it looks very nice and functions well with my mouse. I have to say I wasn't in the market for a new mouse pad but this is a very nice added bonus. I really like the look of it. Yeah, so I'm definitely happy with this Aresgame PSU purchase.

Easy to install and working fine
What good is a review without some context? So, I've been building my own computers for 20 years. This power supply was purchased for a new build. It's nothing really power hungry, ASRock phantom 4 B550 Pro, AMD Ryzen 5 3600, only using a nvme drive and 16 gigs of ram. So I'm not really putting it through the paces. Currently using a GPU with no power cord needed, but will definitely be adding something beefier very soon. There's plenty left of the 650w for a video card, though. I will update the review if I run into any issues. Power supplies are not really easy to review without proper testing equipment, but here's my experience with this one. It fit right into my case (PS on the bottom if that matters to anyone), it powers everything I need it to, which isn't saying much right now. It is very quiet. In my experience, heavier power supplies seem to be better quality. This has a pretty good weight to it considering the amount of the casing that is open for ventilation. Time will tell about durability and stability, but I have not seen anything to indicate there might be a problem. The one thing I really don't like is that the cables are a ribbon style instead of round. I'm pretty OCD about cable management, and the flat cables don't like to stay where you put them. Also, I'm using a mid tower and they are long enough to reach everything, but not quite long enough to route and zip tie them around the edges of the motherboard when using the connectors closest to the PS, Not a big deal. If you are building with a mini tower and/or not using a full ATX motherboard, you won't experience this at all.

the powersupply was well packed and cushioned from external impact. the box was in great shape. the power supply is flat black, chords are black too. it comes with an North American standard plug which is nice i wasnt sure it would. all told the wires feel like good quality and it powers my pc as it should. i will gladly buy products from them again.

Great PSU for new systems, not so good for some older ones.
I originally installed it in an older (4th gen) Dell Vostro system and the computer would not power on. Using a 10 year old Antec PSU solved the issue. There is some sort of wiring difference where this one would not work. It worked fine in a custom build system with ASUS Z97 motherboard, also Intel 4th gen. I recommend using it in new or non-OEM systems.

Great buy for a fraction of the price.
The power supply is on par with the more expensive models from the established manufacturers. However, there are some additions: the packaging is the best I've seen in terms of protection, there is a verification socket included so you can check it before have it installed, it is very silent, the 8 pin CPU connector and the one for mainboard can be splited and reassembled if necessary. Overall it is a great product. The only thing left to prove is the endurance.

Great psu at a great price
A very good power supply for the price. Performs as needed and as a bonus looks good in my build. Tuf b560m plus wifi, 2x8 lpx 3600, titan x, 860 evo 500gb for os, hgst 1 tb for games, 11900 es after market and a bunch of be quiet fans and cooler to top the look off with more cooling than ill need. Only con. I didn't get the modular form factor to save 20$ that I should have.
