Hi, can you let me know what arm length the Large size has as I am 5' 11" with 42" chest so fairly long arms and some jackets are a little short

I’d say large, mine’s a snug fit but very comfy and the length of the sleeves are perfect. Great hoodie

Will this rip if you slide on the road ?

I suspect that the outer material will, but hopefully the inner kevlar layer will provide enough abrasion and friction burn resistance to prevent some injury, in the event of the worst happening, all you can do is damage limitation really, there is more protective gear than this out there which will limit damage more, there's also stuff out there which is worse. It's a personal choice as to how much you want to mitigate risk over how comfortable you want to be at the end of the day. I hope that nobody finds out in practice of-course.
