Wonderful product!
My son wanted me to learn to embroidery hats for him, and I didn't particularly want to buy a cap hoop. I watched a utube video on hooping difficult items securely with this product. It works! So far, I've only had time to try it on two things---a toboggan and a ready-made tote bag. It worked beautifully on both. Toboggans are stretchy, but this held it firmly in place with zero shifting. I used water soluble stabilizer on top to keep the stitches from sinking. My embroidery looked very professional. The other item I tried it on, a ready-made tote bag, was difficult to hoop because it was already sewn together with limited room for maneuvering a hoop. This stabilizer held it firmly in place for the completion of a large monogram, and there was no hoop burn to worry about. (You can usually get hoop burn out with a good spraying of Magic Sizing, though.) For something so sticky, this stabilizer tore right away from my finished designs. I plan to use it on a fleece throw next. I'll be trying it with a baseball-style cap soon, too. I absolutely love how this product performs and plan to always keep some on hand in my sewing room.

Worth it
This is the best sticky stabilizer I have ever used. Holds my item securely without having to hoop it.

Great for difficult fabrics
This is great for a larger hoop. My largest has an 8 x 12 embroidery surface, (hoop is actually 10 x 17, but the surface area inside is what is guaged). If you need to embroider something that would be distorted by hooping, or, which would end up having hoop marks embedded on your fabric, this is what you need. It is less expensive than other brands, but it holds up well. You want to be sure when you separate your fabric from the stabilizer that you do not pull on your stitches. That is something you must be careful regarding. The cost is reasonable, and it really holds the fabric in place. I highly recommend this!

Good product.
Easy to use for all my sewing projects. I like that it is self adhesive as some of my projects I can't use the iron on versions. I use it to stabilize handwoven and knitted projects before sewing on the machine. Some sweaters are cut and sew. The stabilizer makes it easy to sew through the paper backing and prep the seam areas for cutting. And I don't have to worry about the seams unraveling before I can get them done and stabilized with stitching. I learned the trick on YouTube and it works great. One roll lasts a long time and since I do not live near a fabric store I was glad to be able to order it here.

Excellent stabilizer
I purchased the sticky stabilizer. It is easy to use. When you score it to remove the backing, the backing comes off very easily. On a loosely woven fabric, a little harder to get the sticky part off, but not too bad. Better that any I have used. The price online is much better that buying the product in a sewing shop.

It's great for it's intended purpose, but one its hooped, I find removing the backing paper to reveal the sticky side without making a tiny hole somewhere difficult. It's a real tongue out the side of your mouth and super concentrating moment, like threading a needle or putting your key in the lock after a good night out.
