KEEN Men's Targhee 3 Oxford Casual Hiking Shoes

I have a pair of keen hiking boots which I enjoyed, but I’m having difficulty walking in them they become uncomfortable, and that is a physical thing on my part they were a great boot for the time . The new Oxford are fantastic, fit exactly as stated and fit exactly like my boots without the cumbersome feeling.. They are lighter than expected i’m looking forward to my first walk in the park with the dogs with my new shoes.

With flexible arches, shoes are usually an uphill battle for me. Even with arch supports, after a long walk, the first thing I do is take off my shoes to let my feet recover. I just walked my dog for a mile and the shoes are still on! Having a pair of shoes that fit this great out of the box, is unheard of for me. It’s snug but not suffocating and the toe box is super roomy. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable and nicer looking than Keen hiking shoes. I wear them to work and they look as good as the Rockports I used to wear. Good looking casual shoes.

This is my second pair of the KEEN Targhee III Oxford shoes. I really like the comfort and fit. I got years of wear out of the first pair and expect the same for the new pair. My only grip is the leather in the new ones, while fine, don't seem to be as heavy duty as the old ones. This could just be my imagination.

this particular shoe is like hugs for your feet. the insole wears out after 6 months of use, the shoe after a year of heavy use. i am trim carpenter. lightweight, great value for money, comfortable(until insole wears out and show eventually explodes)(i tried something else and came right back to these hugs) the leather upper holds up better in my trade than some of the other materials(high dust environment)

I've been wearing Keens for a good 20 years and have bought probably 30 pairs. They're perfect for my feet and I can walk 10-12 miles without sore feet. Literally the only brand I can do this with. In the past 6 or so years I have noticed a serious drop in quality and regularly have to return brand new shoes due to defects like bad stitching and rubber soles falling off. This last pair of Targhee 3 oxfords passed the initial inspection and so I put them away for later when I needed them. I recently went out of states for a month on combination business and holiday. These were the only pair of shoes I brought thinking they would double for business casual and comfort in my off time. Not a week into my trip in Europe walking around I noticed one shoe was dragging/making noise. This evening I happened to look over my shoes and found that the sole has separated almost completely from the upper. This is not some wear related incident as these shoes have only been worn for about 8 days, instead I am convinced that Keen shoes are now complete garbage. With 3 weeks left overseas I am forced to buy new shoes, which is not easy over here. I'll be stuck with some overly expensive and likely uncomfortable shoe. I don't want to go as far as saying Keen screwed me, but this is the final straw with a company I really wanted to give the benefit of the doubt. So now it's going to be very difficult to do my 10 to 12 miles of walking and touring every day. Thanks Keen shoes, you just ruined my trip. 0 out of 5 stars.

Comfortable and Practical. I work all day indoors, and outdoors. Looking professional is part of my work, but also being able to move and respond quickly to situations is imperative in my field of work. The shoes are a perfect balance between looking professional, comfort, and being able to maneuver efficiently without slipping on surfaces.

Long time Keen fan and got these as new work travel out of state requires me to look professional for meetings but have something sturdy for walking and on field visits. They pass well enough for “dress up” in meetings and also work in the field. I don’t have to bring multiple pairs of shoes when I fly for work. The only thing I’ll note is that for me, these ran large. I’ve always worn 9 M men’s in Keens over a dozen pairs but that size felt huge in these shoes. Downsized to 8.5 M and they work well. On the wider side so will accommodate thicker socks in colder weather. I feel really good about these!
