Excellent kit for beginners like me, came with absolutely everything needed to get started (as advertised), all the tools, user manual, lots of yarn colors and even a QR Code that directs you to a YouTube page for beginners! Only negative takeaway, is the yarn is super small, much thinner than the yarn I see in How-To videos BUT I also found a video that shows how to turn the thin pieces into thicker pieces so it works for now and when I get better I’ll go out and buy better yarn…But this kit definitely puts me off to a great start! 🥰

A great little kit! Comes with lots of hooks, stitch markers (all different varieties), tons of yarn in all different colors, yarn needles, etc. The yarn is thin and not the greatest quality, but it's great for little projects. I've used it for lots of small amigurumi animals & objects. I'm currently using most of it for a book tracker snake for the year that I'm making. I like that it stores all the yarn in the bag, and has a case for all the hooks, stitch markers, etc. I believe it did come with a small book with instructions on basic stitches and notes on what is included in the kit. I would recommend and honestly purchase again, though I might go a different option provided just to get some different colors 🙂

As a beginner I loved everything that came with this kit. The yarn was hard to work with because it did fray alot but all the tools were awesome

Excellent deal with this kit! It is very beginner friendly, but even for someone skilled like me, it’s a fun addition. I do smaller projects that I crochet for random acts of kindness and the yarn has so many color choices; fun ones at that! I like having the user manual that shows the different stitches (because sometimes I have a moment of forgetfulness), stitch abbreviations, and how to read the crochet symbols which is something I’ve been wanting to learn. The plastic accessory kit inside has everything you’ll need. I REALLY love the hooks that came with it because I don’t have much of a pincher grasp due to an old injury between my thumb and index finger, so the grips really help. Hook quality is nice! They would be great for young kids just starting out. They have a nice grip and feel. I love that there are stitch markers and a row counter included, it definitely will be a great addition to helping me keep track and place. Now I will say this as far as the yarn but won’t remove the 5 stars because I knew what I was getting, they are small, but that’s okay by me because I can go by bigger skeins of yarn in a similar or close color if I like it. The yarn quality is nice; it’s a little thinner than I expected but for what this yarn is going to be used for, it’s actually perfect. The tote bag is the perfect size and nice quality; everything fits in nicely and I can take it with me if I want to crochet along the way or wherever I go. Plus being able to see inside without opening is neat. It’s definitely better than the shoebox of things I have! So for beginners, kids wanting to learn, anyone wanting to make small gifts, this is definitely a great choice especially for the price!

Yarn amount is smaller than I expected, but still a decent amount especially with all the colors. The bag it came with stores all the yarn pretty well. The tools and hooks are great too, has 20 stitch markers which is great because I always loose mine

Cheaply made carry bag and hook case. The material is very thin and crappy. Yarn- there is very little in the skein. Prolly enough to make 1 small project like hand size project. Definately not worth the$32.99 I paid. Seller photos make skeins look bigger than they are. That being said, it is good for beginners. It has all the items a beginner, practicing crocheter will need to get started. The multi-color yarns are good for finishing projects when you need to use just a little yarn. There is no detail on the yarn of how much is in each skein. The hooks are nice. I never used the aluminum with rubber handles before and they are nice, comfortable, and easy to use. Overall: I just do not think the kit is worth the money spent. If it was $19.99, sure. But again I paid $32.99 and to me it was spendy for the items received, quality of items, and amount of items. It's just not a value. I would pass on this purchase and not recommend. I did keep the items only because it's just too difficult to return. Meaning I'd have to go more out of my way then it is worth to do so. Amazon also isn't allowing me free, no packing/boxing option. I'd have to print a label or have UPS come to my home and I don't have a printer nor able to be home for a pick up. Wished Amazon would go back to where we can just take item to a UPS location, have them scan the return code and be done with it. Ugh!

This is a great starter kit & my teen daughter thinks it's perfect.

The product is amazing, same as predicted, and the material are amazing! It helped me a lot when i started to crochet, and it is nearly sufficient, everything i needed was there! It is the ultimate best starter pack! Also, all the colors are there, which is comforting, although i needed to buy more, since I finished them.

Positive: No regrets for purchasing this package as it really got me crocheting again. I am very happy with it. The assorted colors are lovely, adding enchantment to my work. Negative: the threads are loose in some areas and therefore getting trapped in the needle which is very annoying
