I want to give a five. I'm not sure if it is a 5 star product though. I installed it and it's super easy. It swivels without issue and needs about 3 - 5 mph breeze to change directions. My only problem is vent placement. Not the products fault. They put the vent pipe right outside the main bedroom roof vent. Wind blows the wrong direction and yuck a ducka doo doo. I think it works? My black tank doesn't have a belly strap I found out. So, the smell is horrible at times. It's been a few days after dumping and I have not noticed any smells. I installed it before dumping and the whole trailer smelled when I got the dump station. Not sure it was this things fault though. I may return for an update if it does seem to be this things fault.

It works. It works AMAZINGLY. I was unable to flush without sickening odors, regardless of how much treatment or what brands I used. I went up top, I snaked the line, I cleaned the tank, I did the whole deal. There was no reason for it to smell. I bought this, popped it on, and there is ZERO smell now. Easy to install, it took me about 10 minutes including climbing up and down. Just needed a few tools and some silicone caulk. For its price, there is no easier "fix" to attempt first for any smell issues - install one, and you will not be sorry.

This unique inexpensive RV device is very easy to install and eliminates the RV black tank odor from the rooftop vent pipe. It is very durable, silent, looks good on the roof and fit perfectly over the vent pipe on our RV. Popped the old vent cap off, inserted this device and caulked the edges and the install took less than five minutes. Worked immediately with great air flow. Two thumbs up! 👍🏼👍🏼

Yellowed after couple years but 11 years later still works.

This unit really does the job! Normally we get terrible sewer odors in our camper when driving down the road or parked in the wind. Apparently we don't have enough vents or in the right place or whatever. I installed this over an existing pipe, but had to cut the pipe down because it was near the ladder and I had to make it low enough to make the fin clear the ladder. I also shaved a notch in the fin so it could swing past the ladder handle freely. It also doubles as a wind direction indicator. We drove down the Alcan to Montana and back with this baby installed and not one single incident of sewer gas, even in the heat of summer. If it ever breaks another one is going on in its place. I never knew the fix for that stink could be so simple. When we are parked it always aligns itself with the breeze to keep the vent flowing the right way. Very nice! My only worry is our habit of bushwhacking. We have to be extra careful to not catch it on a low hanging tree. It has been on the camper almost a year and still swivels freely in the slightest breeze. It has survived the Alaska winter without breaking spinning around in the cold. We finally drilled a hole in the fin and tied it to the ladder rail to keep it from getting unnecessary wear during windy days. ******************************* Update August 2017. 3 years and 2 Alcan trips and this vent top is still spinning in the wind and keeping the camper odor free. I thought the plastic might give out on some cold winter, but it is holding in there and it still turns freely. We have gone through brush and low tree limbs without tearing it off, but the ladder protects it some and we try to keep out of the harder branches. I well made product. Hope they don't change to something cheaper when we finally need a new one.

Had a customer that complained about the smell inside The camper have installed these before the best investment someone can purchase after installing customer was happy.

This thing works so well I’m honestly angry at RV manufacturers for not making them standard. It used to smell terrible inside the RV anytime someone flushed the toilet while underway. Added this thing- no more odor ever again.

Easy to install and works great.

Purchased two cyclones and install on our 14 year old fifth wheel after trying to locate source of intermittent odor. Was willing to try anything and was presently surprised with the results, as in, no more mystery odor. The kit was fairly basic and took a few tools and some basic DYI ability. A five star product at a five star price....Brent

I bought this product 5 years ago in white. It performs as advertised but the white plastic yellows after about 3 years. A recent trip during a hurricane in North Carolina (Kitty Hawk) blew off one of my Camco Cyclones. I liked the product so much the first time that I replaced my yellowed white Cyclone 🌪- and the one that blew away - with new black Cyclones.
