I am not one to write a review however I am a chronic smoker. Something I’ve had trouble with recently is my sinuses being unable to remain clear due to years of neglect causing extreme dryness. This is the first time I’ve used a saline spray and it’s worked incredibly well. This product is very easy to use and considerably reduced the symptoms of a congested nose and allowed me to get more than 6 hours of sleep which I never thought I’d experience so blissfully again. I highly recommend for those who have been struggling with sinus issues stemming from years of smoking it’s a game changer for sleep. This product is worth every penny.

I really like this nasal irrigation system. The fact that rinses through both nostrils at the same time makes it much faster and more effective than the manual rinse bottles I’ve used before. That said, it did take me some time to get used to it. I still find it a little challenging at times, but I think is more about getting comfortable with holding my breath and learning the proper technique than the device itself. I also like that it comes with saline pods included. I haven’t had to purchase replacement pods yet, so I can’t comment on those, but having them included is definitely a plus and they seem to make a difference in the overall experience. It definitely feels a little strange the first few times you use it, but once you get to hang of it, it makes a noticeable difference. Overall, I would recommend it, especially if you’re looking for an upgrade from traditional manual nasal rinses.

I get a cold once or twice per year and they drive me crazy and wipe me out. I have a hard time breathing due to nasal congestion. Sleeping is horrible for me because I can't breathe through my nose so then I get dry mouth and I start coughing and I just don't sleep well. It's horrible. I decide to get the Navage in case of my next cold which I just got. I should have used it right away but I waited one day into the cold before using the Navage. Once I started using it the process was taking a while. I was very stuffed up and it was taking some effort to move the gunk. So I did it 2 times in a row and that help clear me out. Night 2 of being sick I slept like a baby. No issues with my nose being plugged. I was able to breath all night. In the morning I used the Navage again to start the day off mucus free. I ended up using the Navage 3-4 times per day for 3 days. Its amazing how will it works and how much gross stuff I cleared out of my sinuses. Highly recommend to anyone who had a cold and struggles through it. Much better then blowing you nose with no results all day. Sorry for the gross photos. But proof it works.

I have suffered sinus issues due to deviated septum and seasonal allergies for 30 years. I've tried everything. Anyone who has real sinus issues knows that you need something with power, not manual like a neti pot or squeeze bottle. I'm comparing the Navage to the the original Grossan Nasal Irrigation System invented in the 70's and the current Sinupulse Nasal Irrigation System you can get on Amazon. I believe these two systems are in the same league as the Navage. If you are comparing it to pretty much anything else, the Navage will win out because it has power, as would the Sinupulse and other powered machines. There is no comparison between power and non-power. I'm guessing many reviews are comparing manual neti pots to the Navage and that is just not fair. The Navage is far superior to a neti pot due to its power and will review well every time because of that. Take that into account before you get excited about the prospect of a new and much better-powered machine. Pros: *The Navage works as well, if not better, than other powered machines, because of the suction. *The Navage gives a deep, clean feeling, perhaps even more than other powered machines. *The Navage gets the job done. Cons: *If you have a deviated septum the Navage is very difficult or impossible to use on the side where you most likely have most of your blockage. You can try using a nasal dilator like a breath right strip to help the flow, but it is possible that you get no flow at all or something very much inferior to your other machine. Let's face it: a lot of people with sinus problems have them because of deviated septum, so the question is, is it worth it to you? It will do a fabulous job on one side and you may need to use your original powered machine on the other. For $100 I personally think it's still worth it. Although it doesn't work on one side I do seem to cough up more afterwards. The mere fact that the water is slowly passing by near the sinus openings does something. You will know right away if it's not working on your deviated side. There will be no suction, or at least a lot less than on the other side. If you try it the first time and you get no suction switch the position of the nasal pillows. Most likely, you unknowingly started on your deviated side. *The Navage is substantially messier than any powered machine I've used in 30 years. There is a learning curve, especially with a deviated septum. You will swallow water, spit up water, get your shirt wet, etc. Once you figure out how to use it, though, this messiness dissipates. *The Navage does not allow you to use Xylitol (very toxic to dogs/pets) which can have benefits in preventing the development of bacterial sinus infections. It also does not use baking soda, which at first I thought would be a problem, but it's not. The pure saline does not burn and mixes with the whole tank of water evenly. *The suction is no joke. When you use a regular powered nasal irrigation system the primary feeling is water going up your nose. With the Navage, the primary feeling is the suction. It takes some time to get used to it. It can be alarming at first, but you just have to be calm, breathe through your mouth, and take breaks as needed. You are in full control of the power button at all times. Summary: The Navage is great for people without a deviated septum (probably superior to other powered machines). However, it's questionable for people with a deviated septum because you are only getting half the benefit. If this is your first powered machine, I would buy something like a Sinupulse first; that alone will give you relief. If you want to add this later do so. If you've had a powered machine for years this may be a nice addition to your collection of sinus treatment options.

The NAVAGE Starter Bundle has been a surprisingly convenient addition to my daily routine. The device is straightforward to set up and use, and the included SaltPods make it easy to get the proper solution without having to measure or mix anything yourself. The nose cleaner is simple to operate, and I like that the process only takes a short amount of time. The design makes it much less messy and more convenient than manually using a traditional rinse bottle. Having 30 SaltPods included is also a nice bonus because it gives you plenty of uses before needing to purchase more. The device itself feels well made, and cleaning it afterward is relatively simple. For someone who has never used a powered nasal irrigation system before, this starter bundle provides pretty much everything needed to get started. Overall, I think the combination of convenience, ease of use, and the included 30 SaltPods makes this a worthwhile starter kit.

Ok, so I just recently started developing seasonal allergies and I've luckily never really had allergies before. Personally I didn't want to just take allergy meds every day. So I figured I would try the navage thing or neti pot or something more holistic and I've never tried anything like that before. There was a good sale going and spent the $100 to get the navage. Mainly because it forces water in and sucks it out the other side. Where a neti pot you have to lean your head and let it drain out and all. I never tried it but sometime the impacted feeling you need some force to blast it out. Now if you're really stuffed up you might have to blow your nose first. You will know because it won't come out the other side or it will be like a trickle. But it is good to use it a little, blow your nose wait a min and try again. And sometimes that knocks the rest of the stuff free. I was having such allergies when I first got it that I was using it 3-4 times a day and sometimes multiple times in one sitting, if you will. Now, I'm not sure if its just that the pollen isn't so bad right now but I got through that season without meds and more naturally. After it cleared me out. Wow!!! It felt like breathing for the first time. And I must say it is a little interesting getting used to the feeling of the process of it. If you breath actively through your mouth you're much less likely to swallow the stuff its trying to flush out. Lol. One of the best purchases of my life. The cleaning of the device is pretty easy the machine comes apart very easily and comes with a little rubby scrubber. Yes, it could get expensive because you have to use a pod every time. Unless you buy an aftermarket/ off brand silicone little piece that you can reuse and saline packets. Ssshhhh! Otherwise, blast those snot rockets out with this thing vs a well placed finger on your nostril and a good blast of air. You'll be amazed what comes out.

After recovering from sinus surgery, my doctor prescribed something to combine along with a nasal irrigator, which, let's face it, is an unpleasant process no matter how delicately one tries, so the promise of a machine that makes it not only tidy, but as simple as a single button? Things that are too good to be true are, and if I'm lying may my nose grow. But no, my nose is what it is, and that's one (of many) issues with this device. From a merely anatomical perspective, the makers of the device assume everyone has the same nose. Why else would they not include any additional nose tips? Why would they not at least make them adjustable? These are too big, too far apart, too rigid, and not angled enough. I could tilt my whole head to kind of get it to work, but the top of the unit is not watertight, so the precious (and expensive) pod-anointed water just spills everywhere. The suction does work, but only from specific angles. The jet of anointed-water works, but again only from specific angles. Sadly the geometry of these two angles do not align, so either one side either sucks, or one side blows. There's never a smooth and uniform circulation, flow, never a lazy-river nor white-water-rapids, it was just squirt-squirt, glug-glug. With the rest on myself, or the counter, or a passing cat who should know better than to poke its nose into such things. Speaking of pokes, the lets-make-life-easy-by-making-one-button design promised easy of use, but in practicality, its so weirdly placed, not right enough but not wrong enough, that it just feels awkward in the hand and awkward to press, which in itself requires more effort than expected, and to maintain said pressure, at said odd angle, whilst holding ones head at an even odder angle, while spilling oddly anointed fluid over anything and everything that isn't a sinus, which is the one thing I was oddly aiming for. The entire device feels over-engineered. It has lots of plasticky bits. Little bits and bobs. Nose greebles. It looks cool, very sci-fi, but it also feels like there's so much that can go wrong when something as simple as a nose-vacuum needs so many parts, parts that rattle, jiggle, add unnecessary weight, and probably add unnecessary cost, parts that probably exist solely to lock you into some exclusive nose-keurig pods, for the device will do utterly nothing without that magic pod, that giver of salty liquid. And with something as inherently gross as nose-stuffings, the entire process for sanitizing the thing feels like a brutal chore. It would be nice if the device could be broken down, the parts cleaned individually, dishwashered, microwaved, steamed, exposed-to-full-moon, whatever it takes, but currently the whole thing is under lock and plastic-key, so the best you can do is run vinegar and soap through it which will absolutely most-certainly never come back to haunt you the very next time you try to use it. I began this quest because the off-the-shelf drugstore squeeze-bottle nasal-irrigator seemed cheap, low-tech, and simplistic. Now that I've seen this nose-emperor has no clothes, the squeeze bottle seems like a sudden king.

I received my Navage in the mail today. The contents were tightly wrapped inside its box with easy written instructions and illustrations. Set up took a few minutes. I warmed a couple cups of distilled water in the microwave and poured it into the top portion. Then I positioned the saline packet in place and pressed down on the top cover. I dampened the tips before wrapping my nostrils around them (I had read a review that mentioned this) and pressed the button. I felt a slight suction and quiet vibration from the small motor running, and just relaxed as it gurgled quietly. (I prepared by wearing a casual shirt that got damp when removing the Navage while my nose was still filled with solution. And kept a clean towel and plenty of tissues handy!) The experience was very pleasant but for it to be effective it takes a bit of patience to allow it time to work. The bottom tank fills with used water, and you simply turn the tank slightly to remove it (there’s an arrow on it showing how) and discard the used water. You are required to use the Navage saline packs, but you could add something to your distilled water first, before snapping the saline packets in place. I ran the cycle four times this afternoon and tonight my sinuses are clear and refreshed. The contraption is well made and compact for storage. And I’m ready to toss out my neti-pot.

A significant improvement over other competitive nasal cleaning products, which I have used previously. What I like. A) Very easy to fill, load and clean. B) Gently "Pulling" versus "pushing" cleaning water solution through and around the nasal cavity is a much better idea. C) LIked the fact that water/salt solution flow can easily be reversed in direction from the left or the right nostril by simply "rotating" the nose insert. D) Liked the clear "visibility" before, during and after a session. E) Works efficiently requiring about 30 seconds to complete a cleaning F) Really helps to clear my sinuses, improve breathing (and sense of smell) and very helpful with Sleep. G) Extremely easy to fill correctly with pre-measured Salt Pods and water. H) very easy to rinse and clean I) The Stand is very useful for holding both the Device and Salt Pods. J) Most importantly, it is very safe !!! Summary, Navage Nasal Care is the "Absolute Best of the Bunch".
