NO FAILURES EN 6 YEARS OF AT LEAST MODERATE USE.
I've been using 2 of them since 2019 in a Nikon D7500. They keep the charge the same as if they were new. Sadly That camera was stolen from My car with both batteries. In the selection of my new camera one of the items I checked was the battery it used (being a mirrorless and they chew the charge very fast) knowing that the Z5 II uses the same EN-EL 15c was one of the factors. Another one was that I have the charger that was not stolen and ita can charge the EN-EL 15 series of batteries (a, b and c ). Bought an extra one with te new camera.

Good third party battery for Nikon
Who knows how long it will last, but my Z8 recognizes it without a problem. Use time easily as good as the original in my experience. Nice to have the USB C port on the battery, although I can charge the battery in the Z8 without removing it, a nice feature Nikon has added. Time will tell how long it lasts.

The best
Yes it’s expensive, annoyingly so, but it’s also the best, I’ve tried third party alternatives and they simply can’t match it for battery life and reliability, last thing you need when out shooting wildlife pictures is to be watching the battery counter and preying it will hold out, worth the cost for the piece of mind. I won’t go third party again.

Genuine Nikon, good to have this as a spare
The genuine Nikon out performs the third party versions but that comes at a price. This has been bought for use when out and about and battery in camera runs out. Useful to have one charged up in my bag
