Do you have to use the rubber backing?

I bought these for my granddaughter. She said she doesn't wear the rubber backing but you can if you need added cushioning for your ears.

What is the weight of this ?

They are all lightweight earrings. Hardly feel them when they are on.

Are the hoop earrings comfortable?

They are very comfortable when you wear them, but like all clip on earrings, you have to take them off after a couple hours. I wear mine through my work day, then take them off in the car on the way home..
