What is the difference between toast and bagel functions? Between roast, bake, pizza and reheat functions? Manual doesn't explain.

Thank you for your interest in our Calphalon Performance Air Fry Convection Oven, Countertop Toaster Oven. Bake is used for making things from dough in an oven, Toast is used to make something warm and crisp while the bagel setting toasts on one side only. Usually the inside coils so the cut side of the bagel gets toasted while the outside stays soft and warm. Roast is to cook food such as meat or vegetables in an oven. Also, pizza setting is only exclusive for making pizza. I hope this helps!

Toast time takes too long. Is there a work-around?

Thank you for your interest in our Calphalon products. For best TOAST results, place wire rack in the upper rack position. This function is ideal for toasting sliced bread, English muffins and frozen waffles. Toast - Upper - No - Shade 1-7 Time: 1:35 mins. – 12:30 mins. I hope this helps!

How easy is this to keep clean? The inside as well as the basket and pan. Please only answer if you have tried to clean the interior.

I use this oven every day. The key is to clean it right after every use. I purchased mine in June and it looks brand new. The pan is very easy to clean and so is basket.

The air fying option says to put the basket on the upper rack and the pan under it. There is nowhere to set it though. Where exactly do I set the pan?

Place the pan in the slot under the second rackunder the basket.
