Pilot 90011 Varsity Fountain Pen, Medium, Blue Ink, Sold as 1 Each

This was a great entry into the fountain pen world for me. Just enough fountain pen, with a touch of quality ballpoint. The ink is FANTASTIC and now that I’ve purchased my first refillable fountain pen, I’ve been looking for ink that’s similar. Buy it and you’ll love it. If you don’t, you haven’t spent much to discover that fountain pens may it be for you.

Writes extremely well for a disposable pen. The fully rounded ball medium nib gives you a relatively heavy line but still does not drip or easily smudge like even some more expensive non-disposable fountain pens do. Highly recommended for any fountain pen officionados out there.

They said it's 25 pens for this low price, but they only send you one, and then pretend they never said it was a wholesale case....

Nice pen. Writes every bit as nice as much more expensive pens. Point is fine, bordering to medium-fine. My only real negative is, like others, I thought I was getting TWO pens. Pictures are deceptive.

I bought this pen for my grandson and he likes it a lot. I think they started a fad at his school to carry this pen. That's cool. The price is reasonable. He's a neat kid.

Warning! The nib is clearly identifiable as "M" not "F". If you want a Pilot Fine point nib, you will need to order a Pilot Petit. Pro's The Varsity pens have a huge ink-well, which can be refilled (eye dropper style) with a small amount of effort. The flow is broad, and the nibs are smooth. These pens have the best leak resistance of any pen I have used (even ball-points)... ...One of these pens found it's way in our top load washing machine--but no clothes were ruined (these pens don't leak). Con's These are meant to be disposable... and as such, they tend to show wear & tear. And since they look disposable, others tend to mistakenly throw my pens away when they run out of ink. Evidently you can't find these in fine point either... despite the description I received a Medium nib ( -3 stars ) Overall, Buy these from a seller who can differentiate Fine & Medium nibs.
