Good little winch. Wish remote had a little attachment for rc controller

This is a great little winch and is super sturdy. This one went on the front of my FMS FJ40 and looks amazing.

First of all, I want to say, this is by no means saying anything bad about INJORA products as a whole. This winch is sold by a LOT of different sellers, under a lot of different names, but all are made in China for the most part, especially at this price point. That being said, I gave it four stars because the winch itself worked great, when I could get the remote to work, it picked up my battery drill, including the battery. The remote is junk, and I have read other reviews that said the same thing. But as we all know, the cheap Chinese junk is hit or miss, at best. Now, it comes with really nice winch cable, actual steel cable, nice and strong, but, the minute you unspool it, good luck getting it respooled without it looking like a birds nest, all tangled and so forth. At least in my experience. I would suggest ditching the cable, and getting the nylon version. As far as an alternative to the remote issues, I would suggest getting a winch controller, its basically just like the light controller, just for winches, it makes it possible to run the winch from your RC remote, crazy right! You ar holding a remote, as you drive your RC, that you can run your winch from. Just like being able to turn your RC's lighting on and off, and it takes up less space than the included controller. In conclusion, in my opinion the actual winch itself is worth it, despite the sporadic functionality of the remote, and the winch cable issues I had anyway, it can be a very useful addition to your rig, especially with the alternative options I suggested.

So easy to install,being I have a 4ch receiver and all slots are taken to run winch from receiver,I took one of the connectors in the pkg,(one with the deans connector,and think JST connector) i cut the wires off about 4-5 inches back and stripped the wires about 1/4 inch then off of my hobbywing ESC went back about 2 inches cut around the silicone to expose the wire this will be your + - red,blk,then soldered the two wires to according colors heat shrink or tape solder areas plug into winch receiver plug in battery and use a Paperclip to turn on winch receiver this way running direct from battery on each run,instead of using and extra smaller battery to run winch on itself,also had absolutely no issues with the remote,PLEASE NOTE that remote does not come with battery's you will need 2 CR2032 batteries and be mindful of that both install +side up,for my remote for the winch i used HD velcro and mounted to my radio for ease of use,this is mounted on a FMS FJ40.will buy again for another project.

Great product, works pretty good. First concern is that once you let off the in or out on the remote, the winch doesn’t stop when you let go of the remote button. It goes for a second or two. The next is the wires from the bock to the battery were put in backwards. Not a huge deal to pull them out of the clip and reattach them. I had to hot glue them in to stay because the little prongs broke. But if you do not know about wiring this could have caused a fire and been bad.

Arrived broken. Motor runs but does not spin the winch. Had to buy replacement gear set and motor. Didn’t feel like going through the return process but would not buy again. Disappointed in injora and feel like I should have expected what I got. In the attached picture you can see how the gears are damaged

When it comes to add-ons for my RC models, Injora has a wide array of options for a reasonable price. This is no different, and was exactly what I needed. It fits the model I wanted it for, works just fine, and is exactly what I needed. It's convenient because it doesn't require an extra channel on the receiver, thanks to the included remote. It's perfect for most 1/10 crawlers that have a place for a winch to be installed.
