This book is very comprehensive and helpful in more advanced theory, early to mid intermediate players. The book delves into more complex rhythms and key signatures, though the formatting on the page is not my favorite - everything seems to run together and I have to go over each page with the students to make sure they clearly see everything that is being presented. I work with lots of different music materials, and it’s probably my main pet peeve - I prefer books that are really clean and clear cut, that a student could lead themselves through. This one is a little muddled, as far as I’m concerned. Good material, good info, but would need some handholding if the student is middle or early high school aged.
