Can you use with sun roof

Are these safe for the highway?

I used them to carry a boat at highway speeds with no issue. However one note, when strapping my boat to the roof the straps started vibrating. So I twisted them a little bit so they were not flat and problem was resolved.

Would these work on the small Ford Connect Transit cargo van with sliding doors?

I think it would work. Partially close the door before threading the strap into the interior. Then close the door all the way.
