LIQUITEX 1041016 Basics Coarse Texture, 250ml Volume, Pack of 3, transparent

The product itself is great. I love the texture it creates, its easy to use and adds interest to a piece of artwork.It's this listing I have issues with.I bought this item which was described as a pack of 3. One tube came. I took it up with customer services and had a refund.Coming back to the listing it still says a pack of 3 for £16. It hasn't been changed.The product sells generally for £6-8 a tube locally so it's a good deal for a pack of 3 and a bad deal for one tube.If I reorder will I get one tube or 3? Its anybody guess. I'd love to know if other buyers received one or 3 tubes?

I haven’t used this yet, but I’m super excited to use it. From what I can tell it seems like it will be a great way to texture my paintings. If it’s different I’ll come back to update.

I love the coarse texture medium! I originally ordered the 5 piece set so I could try multiple kinds of medium. I loved the coarse texture so I decided to order the large bottle. After receiving it, I realized that the product was completely different than what was in the set. In the picture the left side is from the set, which is very coarse. The right side is from the large bottle and it is a finer coarse, almost like sand. I reached out to customer service on the Liquitex website and they said that the formula changed because they removed micro plastics from their products. I let them know that I was in the middle of my art piece and they offered to send me another 5 piece set. I was in a time crunch so I had already ordered it, but they offered to send me an item for the same value! I am extremely happy with the customer service! And even though the product is a little different, it's still amazing! (Please note that some sets/items on Amazon may still have original formulas because they are being distributed directly from Amazon.

This product had been amazing to get a desired randomized effect for miniature basing. It moves very well with added textures like small sand and stones for detailed terrain effects.This translates very well to the painting stages as well, giving depth and textures for shading and highlighting.All and all, you can use varied tools to apply, and I myself use a small makeup spatula to apply and randomly place and cover.Drying is a bit of a wait, but well worth the effects generated. I usually just leave them out overnight to dry. If it is warm and dry outside, you can also speed the process up by leaving them out there to quicken the step.Attached is an example of the basing I was able to make with it, in addition to corkboard. The first picture is the bare cork and liquitex with rocks and sand mixed in. The second is it dry with a basecoat, and the third is the final painted product.Hope this helps inspire!

Easy to use with good adhesion. Better price than products tailor made for my use cases (texture for miniature bases). Great purchase.
