This Desert Creek raw honey is the real deal. It comes in a huge bucket, and every bit of it tastes bold, wild, and natural. Almost medicinal in the best way. This is my third 5-gallon bucket from Desert Creek and I keep coming back for a reason. The honey tastes excellent - good complexity, not cloyingly sweet like cut honey, and the price per pound is unbeatable for raw, unfiltered stuff. The only inconsistency I've noticed: sometimes you get exactly 60lbs of honey (container tare not included), other times you get the full 63lbs including the bucket. This batch was spot-on at 63lbs total. Seems to depend on who's manning the scale that day, but the variance is minor enough that I'm still ordering. If you go through honey in volume, this is the move. Real product, fair price, no nonsense.

This honey is poor quality and very bitter. I wanted to have a good amount of honey on hand as an “emergency supply” since it keeps forever. I divided the honey into sterile glass jars with tight fitting seals and stored in a cool, dark room. I went to use the honey after about 6 months and the honey had darkened, solidified and was very bitter. It tastes more like a strong molasses than honey. Seller said too bad for you. Don’t buy from this seller.
